Favourite Outfits of 2017

2017 has been an amazing year all around. It has been a life changing year and I am grateful for all my experiences this year. It is definitely a year I will never ever forget. I have been very busy on Fashion and Style Police this year. So many opportunities came my way thanks to this blog and I will forever remain humble. I like writing about my favourite outfits at the end of every year. It allows me look back to see what worked and what didn’t.

Here are my favourite outfits of 2017.

OOTD – Red Jumpsuit

I fell in love with this Quiz jumpsuit as soon as I laid eyes on it. I love the bright red colour; never knew red could look so good on me. This is one jumpsuit that comes highly recommended by me. It is a perfect fit – size UK 10 and scream glam!

OOTD – Autumn Street Style

I got this beautiful Kaftan in a market while holidaying in Oman. I love the print, it is such a beauty. It is also dead comfy and easy to style. Looking forward to when the weather gets warm enough for me to wear this piece again.

I have had this Next dress for a few months now and it still looks as good as the first time I bought it. I love the print and the design It is dead comfy (I am sure you can tell I am so into comfort). It is one of those pieces I throw on when I can be bothered to put in a lot of thought into styling.

This was the first look in 2017 and it is still one of my favourite looks of the year. I love the Blue Vanilla dress. It goes well with the Next Blazer. This is one look I am going to be repeating very soon.

Favourites Outfit Posts Mid Year Review

Where is 2017 running to? I can’t believe the month of June is almost over. I also can’t believe I haven’t published a single outfit post this month. I did try to post an outfit post at some point, but life got in the way, and I didn’t get to post any. I promise to make up for the gap in July, but for now, I leave with you my favourite outfit posts for the last 6 months.

A Beaded Black Dress

I wore this outfit earlier in the year, it is one of the best outfits I have worn this year. I love the Blue Vanilla beaded dress. It is a perfect fit, and there is something elegant about it. I also love the grey NEXT blazer. It gave the outfit a whole new look.

The Oversized Trend & the Petite Woman

This is another outfit I really like. I love the relaxed chic look. The highlight of the outfit is the Apricot Charcoal Sequin Cocoon Cardigan. I think it finishes off the look so beautifully.

Gucci Birthday Present

OOTD: A Beaded Black Dress

Hey peoples, how are we? I am starting to feel slightly human now (been down with a flu), and slowly getting back to work, which is amazing. I hardly fall ill, I can’t remember the last time I have felt this way. So this experience has made me appreciate the little things in life, which is great.

I took these outfit shots on New Year’s Day. The weather was freezing cold but clear so it was a good day for photos.

I am finally back into the outfit mood now which is great. I kind of lost my mojo towards the end of last year for some weird reason. So it feels good to be back in the game. I have a few outfit posts lined up for the next few weeks and I can’t wait to show them off.

I found this outfit perfect for New Year’s Day. The MARYANA Black Beaded Caplet dress is a delicate beauty. It is more than a little black dress. The beaded detail takes the dress to a whole new level. It is currently one of my favourite dresses.

I also found it super easy to style with a pair of boots, tights and blazer. All the pieces and accessories fell into place easily.

I think every woman should have at least 3 pairs of black dresses in her wardrobe for each season. They come in so handy. Little black dresses are super easy to style and they usually look great. It makes sense to have them in different styles and designs to help create different looks.
