Outfit Post – Fashion Blogger Shopping Dream

I recently got the lovely opportunity to shop on BlackBetty Website. For those who have never heard of BlackBetty, it is an online retailer that sells high street fashion pieces and accessories at affordable prices. I must confess, I was very surprised to find see how affordable high street fashion was on the BlackBetty website. The website is like the home of fashion bargain. It is a Fashion Blogger shopping dream.

Shopping on BlackBetty was simple. The website was straightforward and quite easy to navigate. I was done shopping within minutes because I found the pieces I wanted quickly.

Here are some of the items I got from my mini shopping spree. I will be featuring the other pieces in upcoming outfit posts so lookout for them.

The oversized cardigan and the blue long sleeve sweater are new wardrobe additions from BlackBetty. I really both pieces especially the oversized cardigan. The design is beauty and colours on the cardigan are so pretty. This blue sweater is a wardrobe essential which I like because they always come in handy, especially on lazy fashion days.

All other pieces and accessories I have on have been featured on Fashion and Style Police a couple of times. So my regular fashionistas would recognise them. But for those who do not, I shall list the stores I got them from below.

I always shop for new pieces and accessories that would complement my existing wardrobe. That way, I can style them in different ways to create a new look.

Fashion – Hey Fashion Lovers

Hey Fashion Lovers! This is my first outfit post of the month. These last couple of days have been incredibly busy. I am struggling to keep on top of all I need to do but I made some time to take these outfit photos. When there is a will, there is a way!

This was my Valentine’s Day look. I decided to go for a red lip and tone the rest of my look down. I was in no mood for a full on red look, and besides we are still in the middle of winter season. It doesn’t look like the season will be ending anytime soon.

I am hoping we get to experience the warmer spring weather soon. This extreme cold is driving me nuts. And I would love to start rocking some spring pieces.

The sweater I have on is a new wardrobe addition. I got it as a Christmas present, and wore if for the first time some days. It is a lovely sweater with a good fit. I adore the material it is made from. It is such a good quality. I am so in love with it.

The leggings is new as well. I got it some days ago while doing a bit of shopping on the high street. I am forever shopping for leggings as I find them dead comfy and easy to style. And they are forever ripping, so I am forever buying. If you know of any quality  leggings brand, please say so in the comments section. I think I need a few quality pairs that will rip so quickly.

The boots are new and so comfortable. It felt like I was stepping on a very soft surface in them. I highly recommend them.

OOTD – Autumn Street Style

I have not posted an outfit post in a while. I was called out the other day by a reader, and I realised I have seriously neglected my personal style category on Fashion and Style Police. There is really no excuse. It is down to pure laziness but I promise to be better. My focus has been on writing, but I need to remember the big picture. Outfits are a huge part of the big picture. So with that out-of-the-way, say hello to my latest outfit post – Autumn Street Style.

I got this colourful kaftan while holidaying in Oman in the summer. I wore it for the first time some days ago, and I love how comfy it is. It is one size, and has an adjustable belt, which is so handy. I have fallen in love with this kaftan. I wish I got a few more. It is great for the autumn season too!

Everything else I have on is an Oldie but a Goldie. I don’t shop all the time but when I do, I like to buy quality, and this is because I think it is cheaper in the long run to buy quality pieces and accessories. They last longer, which works for me. I don’t have the money or time to keep shopping every season. So I rather spend that more on an expensive pair of jeans or shoes, than a cheap version, only to have it fall apart after a few wears.

I  loving autumn so far. It is getting colder, especially in the mornings and at night, but our heating isn’t on yet, so I guess it isn’t that bad. I am also looking forward to the layering trend; the boots, tights, scarves and light layers rocks my style world.
