July Outfits 2016

Still on how fast this year has gone, I only started having fun with my summer dresses and skirts, only for it to be August already. Before we know it, summer would be over, and we will be saying hello to Autumn. I better make the most of the rest of the sun…Here are my July Outfits:

OOTD: The Show Must Go On

This was my first outfit post for July. I was in London for the weekend, and was seriously battling with Hay Fever, and just not feeling myself. I am so glad all that is over, and I can enjoy the sunshine in peace. What I like most about this outfit is the black Next sandals. It was my first time wearing it, and I have worn it many times ever since.

OOTD: A Summer Dress

This outfit post was the most viewed outfit post for the month of July, and I can see why. It is my favourite look for the month. I love the floral Blue Vanilla dress a lot. It is perfect for the weather. And the accessories complemented the dress beautifully. I can see myself rocking this look again and again.

OOTD: Styling Shades of Blue

50 Shades of Blue Image

I enjoyed styling this Shades of Blue outfit. Blue is one colour I really like, and I think it looks so beautiful especially in the summer months. The highlight for this outfit for me was the Miss Selfridge blue top. I got the top a long time ago, but for some reason, I hardly remember I have it. The Kurt Geiger shoes finish up the outfit perfectly too.

So these are my July Outfits..I had fun styling and shooting them. And I hope you are inspired by them.

June 2016 Outfits

I still cannot believe June is over already. I mean, it only just started right? June was a very exciting month as far as Fashion and Style Police was concerned. I published a post everyday, multiple times most days and it has now become a habit.

June outfits were quite popular, and I am happy you all loved them as much as I enjoyed styling them. Here is a quick recap incase you missed it:

OOTD: Heels & Socks Trend

I enjoyed styling this look. I haven’t rocked the heels and socks trend in years, so styling this look brought back sweet mermories. It definitely took me out of my comfort zone, and I intend to keep doing that from time to time. Life is way too short to wear boring clothes.

OOTD: My Protein Sportswear

I enjoyed showing off this stunning gym kit by My Protein. I have never seen a gym kit look and feel this good. It was love at first sight. It was the most viewed outfit post for the month of June, so I guess many loved it too. I am looking forward to visiting a gym just so I can wear this gym kit, lol. I know that sounds vain but I don’t care, I love my kit.

OOTD: I’m A Shopaholic…Get Me Outta Here

Orange Little Mistress Dress Image

This orange dress by Little Mistress is a great dinner or wedding dress. I love the design and the colour of this dress and I plan to wear the life out it. I have nothing like this in my wardrobe so it filled a void nicely.

OOTD: One Wish

This is another outfit I enjoyed styling. The floral print top is a great summer addition. I plan to take this beauty on holiday later in the year. I think it would look great over a bikini. Love Love Love.

OOTD: Its All About the Print

So I saved the best for last with this outfit. This is my favourite outfit for June. I loved the fact that this outfit was not planned. I had no idea of what shoes I was going to have on until the very last-minute, after changing my mind twice. I am glad I went for these pieces and accessories. I really like the overall look. It felt so good, I was ready to roar!

Thanks for reading and have a fab weekend.

I can’t believe how fast this year is going. Half of the year is gone already. Looking at how fast the year is going makes me reflect on how the year has been for me so far. I am happy with where I am at, I have ticked off many things I wanted to achieve this 2016, but there is still a lot to be done, and with little time left, I better get cracking!

I wore this outfit some days ago. I had some errands to run and I wanted a smart but casual outfit, and this made sense to me. You may remember this top from the ‘What is in my Spring/Summer Bag’ post. This is my first time wearing it and I love it. It is so summery and it is a great piece to wear on a warm day. I will definitely be taking this top with me for the holidays.

It has been raining for days now, with some sunny spells in between. Doesn’t quite feel like summer anymore but doesn’t feel like autumn or spring either. It just feels blahhh.

My hay fever on the other hand, has gone from bad to HORRIBLE. My eyes are so sore from all the scratching, eye drops and ice blocks. I have been unable to wear my contact lenses for days. The only thing giving my eyes some relief are the ice blocks. I have tried all sorts, and nothing seems to be working. I can’t wait for this season to pass, so I can have my life back. If I had 1 wish, it will be for me to enjoy the summer season in my little countryside village without the hay fever. Is that too much to ask?

On the bright side, I have been loving Orange is the New Black Season 4 on Netflix. I have watched about 5 episodes now, and I am planning to binge watch the remaining episodes this week. This new season is funny and crazy, just like the previous seasons. Have you been watching? What do you think of the new season?
