Not Another Summer Wishlist

I still do not have enough sandals. Since I permanently moved to the UK in 2008, I have been focusing on my winter essentials and neglected my summer wardrobe, but I am trying to make amends this summer. With so many cool, summery sandals around this season, I have been busy, splashing out on sandals here and there, and lusting after some more. I still have many more on my wish list. Here are 8 sandals I am currently lusting after:

1. Misguided Platform Block Heel Sandals


I am loving the contrast of colours and textures on this beauty. It will be a perfect summer addition. I can picture myself styling this beauty with a black jumpsuit. It goes for £30 and I think it is worth every penny.

2. La Redoute Leather Flip-Flops with Sequins and Buckled Strap


This casual sandal candy for £17.50 will love ridiculously fabulous with blue jeans and a white top. It is also quite affordable so I might be getting this. Let’s see.

3. Adesso Womens Marla Sandals Jeans


This gorgeous, versatile, comfortable, super stylish beauty is currently on sale for £40 (previously sold for £50) will look amazing when paired with blue jeans and a t-shirt.

4. Rocha John Rocha White Cutout Sandals


This white feet candy is currently on sale for £22.50 (previously sold for £45) is a summer must-have this season. It will fit into my wardrobe very nicely.

5. Mantaray Lilac Leather Strap Sandals


This Mantaray beauty is also on sale for £!2.50 (previously sold for £25) which is a bargain. This will complete my summer sandal collection because I have no sandal in this colour.

6. Matalan Suede Tassel Sandals


This suede sandals with fringe cuff will look lovely when paired with something short like a romper/playsuit or a mini skirt. Do you agree?

Fashion Diva Biki

The fashion diva of the week is Biki John from Nigeria. Biki John is a Fashion Communications Consultant who has worked in the fashion industry for ten years. For this look, Biki has on a gifted blazer and tights, a Topshop skirt, Faith shoes and vintage jewellery and belt. That blazer is so chic.


This is one of my favourite looks of Biki. She is wearing a black jacket by Humana Berlin, a red Blouse by H&M, a 50s-inspired floral skirt by H&M, gifted jewellery and boots, and butterfly hairclip by Claire’s Accessories.


For this look, fashion diva Biki is wearing an Asos bustier, a Primark print culottes, Faith shoes,  vintage jewellery and belt and Turban material from a Lagos market. That Asos bustier is so stylish.


Here, Biki John is wearing a gifted blouse, a black jumpsuit by Peekaboo Vintage Clothing, a gifted bag, a belt by Just Landed Berlin, vintage jewellery, turban material from a Berlin fabric store and shoes by Faith. This look is everything, so stylish.


For this look, Biki is wearing a kaftan made by a Lagos bases tailor, a Primark necklace and a gifted bracelet. That kaftan is so very pretty.


For her final look, Biki is wearing a black sequinned bodysuit by Miss Selfridge, a transparent polkadot maxi skirt by ASOS, a cobweb cloak from a Berlin store, and gifted thigh highs and boots.
