OOTD: Cheers to the New Year

Happy new year everyone! Hope the new year has started on the right note for you all. It has for me. I got back home some hours ago from Essex. It was great spending some quality time with family and I enjoyed having a bit of a break from my regular routine. I am now back to business as usual, so expect regular blog posts as normal.

I wore this outfit some days ago. The dress is a new wardrobe addition from Quiz Clothing and I adore it. It looks super glam. The sparkly look is right up my street and the style looks great on me. Quiz Clothing currently have a massive sale going on. It is currently 70% off on most pieces so get in there to make the most of the ongoing January sale, if you are keen.

The bag is also a new addition to my handbag collection. It was a Christmas gift and I adore it. I have always wanted a bag in this shape and colour, so I am very pleased with this beauty. Hope you all got some amazing Christmas presents. I got great Christmas presents and I love every one of them.

Excuse my indoor photos. I am usually not a fan of them when it comes to showing off outfits but it was way too dark to get decent outdoor photos on that day. And the festive period was so busy, it was almost impossible to get anything done.

Autumn Fashion Season Swag

One of the best things about a new season is a new wardrobe. And one of the best things about Autumn fashion is the layering and the cosy pieces. I get super excited about new season trends. All I need is an unlimited budget to get buying right? If only…

Since I can’t buy all the cool pieces in the stores, I happily lust after them. I have my mind on so many stylish pieces. Here are a few of them –

Double Breasted Shearling Coat £40

I love this double-breasted Sherling Coat a lot. The tan suedette fabric with super soft cream faux fur lining and faux fur oversized lapel is bang on trend. I have nothing like this stunning piece in my wardrobe so I think this coat will be a fabulous addition.

SIK SILK CAMO INTERLOCK POLY TRICOT ZIP HOODIE £64.99

I am always on the lookout for stylish menswear for the man in my life and I think this camouflage hoodie is a fab choice. I love the camouflage print, I think it is so trendy and always in vogue. I wonder why I have no cam piece. I think I will need to change that. I can picture this hoody looking amazing on my man. It has Autumn fashion season swag written all over it.

Women’s Crew Neck Striped Wool Dress £180

This wool multi coloured dress is on my style radar; I don’t care how heavy the price tag is, lol..

I can picture myself rocking this beautiful piece with my black ankle boots. It would look amazing. Pairing this beauty with a pair of white sneakers would give it a nice laid back look too.

Alegria Watch, Gray £279

If you know me well enough, you would know how much I love my watches. I have not bought a new watch in a bit, but I have my eye on this gorgeous piece right here. It is so chic, so elegant. I love the sophisticated look and the grey dial. I would so love to have this beautiful watch on my wrist. Maybe Santa would come early…

This Faith Black Brooke High Boots is the Truth! I would classify this as a wardrobe necessity this season. It is a great pair of boots to have this Autumn. It would take you from day-to-night easily. I can’t leave with a few pairs of ankle boots in my wardrobe during Autumn/Winter.

OOTD: Wedding Guest Outfit

wedding-dress-picture

You don’t want to know how old this dress I am wearing is, you really don’t. It is older than Fashion and Style Police (going to be 4 in October, whoop whoop), and it is older than many other pieces in my wardrobe. I was pleasantly surprised to see I could still fit right into it. Quality speaks without saying a word, and that is why I like to spend that bit extra on my pieces so they can last for as long as I need them to. I also take good care of my clothes as well, and I guess the extra care adds to the lifetime of the pieces.

I wore this outfit some days ago. I have a wedding to attend and I needed to shop my closet for wedding worthy pieces to style, so these pieces came to mind. The dress is an oldie as you all know by now, but the navy blue fascinator is not. It was sent some days ago, and I am happy to say I will be wearing it to the wedding. It is my first ever fascinator and I adore it. I also found it super comfy, I always thought fascinators would be uncomfortable because they do look like a bit of work to have on your head all day, but I found this so light and easy to wear.

The black bolero jacket is another newbie. I got it some days ago for the wedding and I am crazy in love with it as well. I love the sleeves, silk material and the fact that it is so dressy.
