Rosie Huntington Whiteley Covers Harper’s Bazaar September 2016

The beautiful and elegant Rosie Huntington Whiteley Covers Harper’s Bazaar September 2016, and it is a fab cover. I really like the whole white and grey theme going on here. It kind of reminds me of the autumn/winter season, which I am crazy about.

I got this issue some weeks ago, and I must confess, it was a fab read – I finished it in 1 sitting. I have always been interested in Rosie Huntington Whiteley’s career, right from her Victoria’s Secret days.  At 29 years old, the supermodel is doing very well for herself with her brand collaborations with M&S, Uggs Australia and Paige Denim. Her business acumen and drive is what stands Rosie Huntington Whiteley out from the rest. No wonder she is also one of Britain’s most successful supermodel.

Speaking on her Autograph collaboration with M&S –

‘Since I was young, I’ve always bought vintage night-slips and lace boleros,’ she says. ‘And Marks & Spencer is this iconic British high-street store that everybody in the UK has some form of connection with. My mum took me bra shopping there for the first time as a teenager.’

‘I think everybody is so used to celebrity endorsement that feels inauthentic, but I’ve worked for lingerie brands since I was 17,’ she says. ‘It’s really important when you align yourself with a brand that it’s genuine. You have to look at the bigger picture. It’s not just transactional, it’s not just about taking a job and making money and moving on to the next thing. It’s about: what does this mean for me? Where can this go?’

I am yet to try on a piece from her Autograph collection but I would love to. I have heard so many good things about the collection.

Do you own any of the pieces from the collection? What do you think of this cover?

Sound off in the comment section. Thanks for reading.

  1. I absolutely love the cover. When I seen the first few lines in my email O thought “uh white and greys! Drab and boring” I was so wrong.

This cover is fantastic abd really speaks to me. I love her concept of why she works for companies too.

I had to smile when she talked about her 1st M & A experience with bra’s and her Mom. I think its the same for most of us. I still get my bras’ from M & S.

I am not mad keen on them for their clothing line however I think that’s more my age group who remember our parents buying from M & S.

It was a time when age group and clothing was very defined and your parents/Grandparents shopped in certain stores and dressed in a certain way. It’s what alot of people I know say of around my age group.

Ofcourse I love the picture of her below too in the contrasting outfit. Striking.

Really enjoyed the article. Nice to see a cover I really like. Harpers seems to be the main one for getting it right more times than not

  2. Loving that cover! I’d love to have a session with these photographers and stylists to see what I’d look like afterwards. Looks like loads of fun to pose like that 🙂

  3. I really like her M&S collab, the pieces are sooo pretty and I’m really pleasantly surprised to see that the range includes my size. Love that cover, she is beautiful. x
