4 Tips to gaming online

To enjoy gaming initially, you had to have a gaming console and a joystick. However, with time, technology makes it possible to play games on online platforms whether on your PC or Smartphone.

Additionally, cryptocurrency sites such as Ethereum allow developers to create decentralised game applications.

The good thing about online gaming is that you can meet opponents from various parts of the world. You are free to interact with whoever you find available at the time of play.

However, as everything takes place online, we provide tips that could help you enjoy your gaming experience.

  1. Security should be a priority

Your main concern as an online gamer is to ensure that you adhere to strict security rules. People lose money through suspicious sites.

One way to avoid this is to have a good, secure online antivirus. The most prolific ones could detect any suspicious sites and those that are not secure enough. Some, by the way, will ask you to turn off the antivirus to install the app.

Do not turn it off at all costs. It means that the program that you are installing will infect your computer, which makes it easy for hackers to track you.

  1. Use pseudonyms during registration

Do not be too cute when registering on these platforms. Some will force you to provide your name during registration, which could be a trap.

Remember that you know nothing about the developer. Some of them are there to fish your details. After that, they can use the information to hack into your accounts. If you have to register, first ensure that the site owner is someone that is trustworthy.

Additionally, when registering, use pseudonyms to protect your identity. With that, you are sure that you are safe even when hackers attack the site.

  1. Keep watch of children

Online games are not just for adults. Children, too, nowadays participate in these online games, which calls out for the parent to be extra careful.

Some of the sites allow you to chat with your opponent. If they are criminals, they may end up bullying them or using abusive language on them, which could groom your child to adapt to that behaviour. Thus, try to know what kind of games that your child plays online.

You could also download games that are safe for them to enjoy. It will prevent them from watching pornographic materials or even giving out essential information such as credit card numbers.

  1. Join a community

Conventionally, gamers used to buy the games from brick and mortar store. However, nowadays, you can download the game app from an online store.

Besides, since it connects you with the rest of the world, it is wise that you join a community of gamers, especially those that play the type of games that you like. Some of them leave reviews, and if the moderator is legit, you will have trustworthy information released to you.

With such communities, it reduces the chance of landing into opponents with criminal intentions, dangerous websites and knowing which game fits you the most.

Conclusion

Additionally, look out for live casinos based on your location. It makes it easier to contact them in case of a problem and reduces the cost of reaching them-if you understand how expensive international calls can be.

You will also break the language barrier problem, and you do not have to change your country’s currency if the casino is operating from a local base.

How to Sound More Relatable on Your Blog

Blogging is a lot different from other forms of writing. It’s more informal, personal and relatable. I like to think of blogging like having a good conversation with a good friend at Starbucks. But instead of talking, you’re writing it all down.

As a blogger, it took me time to ease into the unique style of writing blogging offers. I had to learn to be more relatable to my audience. With a lot of practice I was able to master the art of effectively communicating with my audience through my blog.

If you’ve also been struggling with trying to sound more relatable on your blog, here are some tips that may help.

  1. Look for a common ground

Imagine you’re meeting someone for the first time. What’s the best way to get a conversation started? Of course, by talking about something that they’re interested in. But what sustains the conversation? It’s if the thing they’re interested in interests you too.

That’s exactly how it’s like when you’re blogging. To sound more relatable in your blog you need to find a common ground that both you and your audience are interested in.

Share similar experiences. You can also use the same words and expressions they would have used. Identifying the similarities you have with your audience is a great way to create content that they can easily relate with.

  1. Show empathy

Before you start crafting content for your blog, always have it at the back of your mind that your audience wants to connect with someone who is as human as they are. So when you’re blogging, show empathy. Let your content show them that you care about their feelings, their challenges and their goals. Show that you understand them.

  1. Inject gratitude and appreciation

Your blog is nothing without your readers.  So the least you could do is to thank your readers for stopping by your blog or taking time to read your blog post. You may not necessarily write a long thank you note in your blog post. A line or two in the comments thanking your readers for their time can make a big difference.

  1. Imagine you’re having a conversation with a good friend

I think this is the key to writing that perfect relatable blog post. And the funny thing is that this is the tip that most bloggers miss the most.

Ask yourself: How would you talk about your blog topic with your close friend?

Don’t look at your blog as a place where only you do the talking. You need to picture yourself having a conversation with a member of your target audience. It’s so much easier to relate with someone who is trying to engage you in conversation than with someone who is trying to pour all the information in one swoop.

Add some personality.  Use words (no swear words) you would use in real life like “duh”, ”yay” or “ouch”.  Such words make your audience feel like they are having a conversation with a real person. Don’t be afraid to throw in some insider jokes that your audience can relate with.

Dubai – A Destination for Thrill Seeking Holiday

I love travelling. Exploring various cities/countries always put me on the high, which is why I always look out for any travel opportunity I can lay my hands on. We have kind of slowed down our travelling because of the kiddies. We have visited many countries with the kids but the reality of it is travelling with them isn’t easy. The good news is that they are getting older, so our travel thrill seeking holidays would be back on track. We have a few cities we are thinking of visiting in the next few months and I hope they happen.

Looking back at all the holidays I have been on in the last few years, my favourite is and always will be (for now anyway) Dubai. I just love that place. It is a beautiful holiday destination. There is something for everyone and for every family. It is a thrill seeking holiday for sure so if you are after good fun, you need to visit Dubai.

Regardless of what you are into, there are definitively activities to keep you very busy. And as long as your travel insurance covers all aspects of your travel, you are fine to explore and have good fun. The importance of travelling with a travel insurance that covers everyone on the trip and all aspects of your trip can’t be overemphasised. Travel Insurance is not something you should ever skip when going on holiday as you never know when it would come in handy. And it pays to be safe than sorry. If you are shopping around for best deals on travel insurance, you can check out https://www.bupaglobal.com/en/quote for a quote.

When it comes to Dubai adventures, there are so many activities to catch your fancy. From skydiving with a view to riding camels in the desert. And if you are into water sports in particular, there you will really enjoy Dubai. There are so many water sports activities to do in various water parks. We had a good time at Wild Wadi when we visited Dubai last year. The water rides were a lot of fun. The kiddies really so much. And the year before, we visited The Atlantis The Palm’s Aquaventure Waterpark and that was even more fun. We got on so many cool water rides/slides, the craziest being the Leap of Faith – a near-vertical drop for the bravest holiday thrill seekers.

Dubai is definitely a major tourist attraction. It is a great holiday destination and it is always the first place I recommend anyone to go on holiday. I have visited the amazing place 3 times now and I still can’t get enough of it. It is one place I can freely let my hair down and just have some fun. The weather is always good with plenty of warm weather. However it is best to avoid visiting Dubai between June and October when the weather is dead warm. Visiting between December – March is fine as it is not as warm as other months.
