Kylie Jenner Covers Glamour UK June 2016 Issue

Glamour-Jun16-Cover_b

The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner empire, Kylie Jenner, is on the cover of Glamour Magazine UK June 2016 issue. She has the whole Hollywood look going on with the bloated lips, it looks so weird, and so does the hair, makeup, earrings and everything. I find it so hard to understand why such a young girl would want to alter her look so much. It does not look right to me at all but she I would want to believe she loves her new look. I am not against plastic surgery or any kind of beauty enhancement, but I am against it when you are yet to be 21 years old. I think that is the right age to get work done if you want.

Anyways, this cover looks OK. I am not a fan of Kylie Jenner at all, and I am never interested in anything she creates (I was never into the Lip Kits, I didn’t even think of buying them), or anything she has to say. The articles mentioned on the cover do not look interesting either, so I know for a fact that I will not getting a copy of this issue.

However this picture above looks great. I love the pose and her outfit. This right here would have looked better on the cover, do you agree?

It comes as a surprise to me that Kylie Jenner claims to be a feminist in her interview with Glamour, just because she makes her own money, but there is a lot more to being a feminist:

“I do consider myself a feminist,” she says. “I’m a young woman, for one thing, and I don’t depend on a man or anybody else.  I haven’t had a dollar of my mum’s money for five years,” she said in the June issue. “Ever since I started earning my own money, I’ve paid for everything: all my cars, houses, clothes, everything.  I like to know exactly what’s going on and I’m actually quite careful with what I spend.  We all are as a family. I make my own money and start my own businesses, and I feel like I’m an inspiration for a lot of young girls who want to stand on their own.”

Scarlett Johansson Covers Cosmopolitan UK June 2016

Cosmopolitan UK June 2016

The lovely Scarlett Johansson is gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan UK June issue, for the first time in 9 years, and she is looks fierce on it. I love the all black outfit she has going, with a bit of skin on display. The short hair looks amazing on her as well. This outfit is putting me in the summer mood already. I can’t wait to rock some summer pieces, and enjoy the lovely weather. The weather in Cheshire has been up and down like a yo-yo, for the past 1 week, so here is to hoping.

I can see this June issue clearly standing out on the newsstands, the black outfit, pose and blue background works incredibly well. It is a stunning cover, with an even more stunning cover girl. The only thing I would have wanted to see on her is her signature red lips, but her makeup here looks good too.

In this Cosmo issue, the 31-year-old outspoken cover girl bares it all. No topic is off-limits, she dishes out her thoughts on planned parenthood, equal pay for ‘every woman’, losing love and finding love, being a wife and mum to a toddler, and everything else in between. It promises to be a good read so I may be getting a copy of this. Plus it is just £1, which is great.

I love this second look. The white mesh dress and the sandals look so stylish paired together. I am loving the sandals especially, it looks fabulous.

There are other articles on the cover that look quite interesting as well. Articles like – Young, Hot & Loaded – We partied with Donald Trump’s daughter, I would love to read this simply for entertainment, I can’t stand Trump and I hope he doesn’t win the election, How to Rule the Coolest Company in the World, by the Woman who does, sounds like an inspiring read. What do you think?

Duchess of Cambridge Covers British Vogue June 2016

We have royalty on a magazine cover this month. The elegant Duchess of Cambridge, is on the cover of British Vogue for June 2016, and she is looking beautiful as always.

This is a very different cover from Vogue. I must confess I was expecting to see another supermodel, so seeing the Duchess on the cover was a pleasant surprise. This is the first magazine shoot, she has ever consented to and I am not surprised she agreed to do Vogue. The Princess of Wales, Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother, and the Queen have all been photographed by the Vogue team over the past 100 years. Also, Princess Diana appeared on the cover of British Vogue in 1994, so it kind of answers why she decided to appear on Vogue. Following in their footsteps I guess.

“It’s a huge honour and incredibly exciting for us to have HRH The Duchess of Cambridge featuring on the cover of British Vogue and as part of our centenary issue,” Vogue editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman said today. “For me personally it has been a wonderful experience to have had the opportunity to work with her on this, and I am immensely proud of what we have produced. This special issue of the magazine is very close to my heart as it had to reflect on 100 years of British Vogue, and so I am hugely grateful that we have been able to continue with our tradition of outstanding royal portraiture with these pictures.”

I love the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge is dressed casually in these photos photographed by Josh Olins. She looks like an everyday girl next door, which I find refreshing. I love her hair a lot. I think she can give Jennifer Aniston a run for her hair money any day. I haven’t bought a Vogue in a while so I can see myself buying this issue. What are your thoughts? Will you be buying?
