Product Review – Avon Cleansers

I have recently started using Avon products, and I must confess liking them. Today, I bring to you an Avon Cleansers review post. I have been using Avon True Nutra effects Micellar Cleansing Water and Anew Clean Anti Ageing 3 in 1 Cleansing Water, and I have a bit to say about these products.

It was my first time using a Micellar Cleansing Water Product and I was well impressed. Avon True Nutra Effect Micellar Cleansing Water promises to gently and effectively remove make-up on all skin types. Here are my thoughts on the product.

 

PROS
  1. It is super affordable at £4 for a 200ml bottle.
  2. I love the simple packaging.
  3. This product is very easy to use with some cotton wool. A little goes a long way.
  4. It works for all skin types, and all over the face.
  5. This Micellar Cleansing Water is formulated with Active Seed Complex featuring vitamin E and chia seed extract. It is also formulated with micelles that act like magnets to remove make-up and impurities without drying skin.
  6. It gently and thoroughly removes makeup and all impurities.

Anew Anti-Ageing 3-in-1 Cleansing Water £6.50

Anew Anti-Aging 3-in-1 Cleansing Water promises to gently cleanse entire face and neck to clear the skin of dirt, oil and impurities. Here are my thoughts on this Cleansing Water.

 

PROS
  1. There is no need to rinse, which is convenient.
  2. This Cleansing Water has Isotonic Water Complex to attract and maintain moisture within the skin.
  3. It is great for all skin types.
  4. I like the price tag of £6.50 for a 200ml bottle.
  5. Good to have a 3-in-1 product.

 

CONS
  1. I don’t like the sticky texture of my skin after using this cleansing water. I always feel like I need to rinse my face.

 

AVON Makeup Remover Image

 

Overall, both Avon products are great. I love the Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water a lot. It is an amazing makeup remover product and I will buy it over and over again.

The Anew Anti-Aging Cleansing Water is also a good product but I won’t be buying it again because I don’t like the way my skin feels after using it. The Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water suits my skin better.

My thoughts

I adore this summer candles. They are perfect! I really like the packaging with my name on the candles. It adds a unique touch for sure. The Summer Nights Citronella and Lime Scented Candle creates an uplifting atmosphere that suits the living room best. The lime smell is the stronger scent and I really like it. It reminds me of cool summer nights, and I find it really relaxing.

The Summer Kitchen Lime Basil and Mandarin Scented Candle has a lighter fresh scent which is great for warm summer days. The fragrance reminds me of the sun. Which is amazing with the current sunny weather we are having.

I love both candles, and I am looking forward to enjoying them this summer. Summer is never really complete without some candles burning in our home, and I love the ambience these candles create.

Fashion and Style Police Reviews Avon and Bath & Body Works

I have recently started using some Avon products and Bath & Body Works shower gel. A friend of mine introduced me to Avon, and I have been loving the products so far. The review here is for an Avon perfume and Bath & Body Works shower gel. I will be reviewing the rest of the Avon products in another post.

 

Avon Incandessence Flame Eau de Parfum Spray 50ml £11

I have used this perfume for some weeks now and I really like it. It was a gift from a friend and I am glad I finally got the opportunity to try Avon.

This fragrance was launched in 2014. It is an addictive infusion of vineyard peach, intense golden gardenia and warm cedarwood.

 

PROS
  1. I love the cute red bottle. It looks good in my bathroom cabinet.
  2. It is so affordable at £11.
  3. I like the fresh/light fragrance a lot. It is great for the current season.
  4. This fragrance is great for both day and night.
  5. The sexy fragrance stays on for about 5/6 hours.

CONS

None.

 

I really can’t fault this Avon Incandessence Flame Eau de Parfum Spray. It is an amazing perfume. You should all go try it if you haven’t already.

 

 

Bath and Body Works Fresh Sea Salt Mango Shower Gel 236ml $12.50

I got this Bath and Body Works Fresh Sea Salt Mango Shower Gel while holidaying in Maryland last month. It was my first time shopping in Bath and Body Works and I enjoyed the shopping experience. The sales girls were friendly and proactive and the shop smelt so good. It reminded me of our good old The Body Shop here in the UK.

This shower gel is a fruity blend of Fresh Mango, Sea Salt Breeze, Sunkissed Clementine, Watery Musk & Orange Blossom.

 

PROS
  1. I really like the beautiful packaging. It looks so good.
  2. It smells amazing. I adore the sweet long-lasting fragrance.
  3. This shower gel contains Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Tahitian Monoi Oil, which are all great for the skin.
  4. It leaves my skin clean and fresh.

  1. I found it quite pricey at $12.50.
