Product Review – Pearl Drops and Arm & Hammer

I mentioned in a previous post how I am super obsessed with white teeth. And all about my teeth whitening experience so far. If you have read that post, then this product review post should not surprise you. I had an opportunity to review Pearl Drops Lasting Flawless White Toothpaste and Arm & Hammer Total Pro Clean + Repair Toothpaste. Both products are great. I will definitely be using them again as they have both stepped my oral health game.

Arm & Hammer Total Pro Clean + Repair Toothpaste

Now I really like this toothpaste. This is the first Arm & Hammer product I am trying, and I am completely sold!

The chief of all toothpastes. This formula does everything, and we mean EVERYTHING, other total toothpastes do. In addition, kickass baking soda gives your mouth an awesome all round deep clean, plus it is packed with Active Calcium to strengthen teeth making it waaaaay more total.

Fashion & Style Police Reviews Shea Moisture

I am a huge fan of Shea Moisture hair products. I have used them for years since I transitioned to natural hair, and the products have been amazing for my hair. So you can imagine my excitement when I got the opportunity to review some Shea Moisture hair products from the Raw Shea and Cupuacu Frizz Defence range.

I have only used Shea Moisture hair products for Dry and Damaged hair because that was where my hair was at 2 years ago. It was extremely unhealthy and looked horrible. But thanks to Shea Moisture and some other great hair products, my hair is not where it used to be. It is growing at a terrific rate and I am looking to all the things I would do with my natural hair soon.

Smoothes and shields humidity-prone hair against weather conditions and pollution that can cause frizzy flyaways and poofing.

I love all three hair products, and I recommend them to anyone dealing with thick, wavy hair. These are the hair products you need to keep your hair soft, shiny and tangle free.

Product Review: Clinique Skincare Products

I love testing out new products and telling you all about it. I am always in pursuit of the next best beauty product, so expect many beauty reviews. I have used a few Clinique products in the past, and I found them good, so I decided to test out a few more, to see if they could become my regulars.

Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter

This is my first time using a body butter. I have heard quite a lot of good things about body butters in general, so I decided to give this Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter a try, and I am happy I did. I have been using it for weeks now, and I love it!

Here is the brief product description –

Luxurious, butter rich body cream penetrates dryness prone skin, delivering a new kind of softness to elbows, knees and heels. So silky, skin drinks it up instantly, stays soothed and comforted all day. This body butter softens rough, dry skin and is easily absorbed into skin. Works for all skin types.

Here are my thoughts –

PROS

  1. It is fragrance free.
  2. It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
  3. It moisturises the skin perfectly, leaving feeling soft, silky and smooth.
  4. A little goes a long way.
  5. It is easily accessible at Boots, Debenhams, and many beauty stores.
  6. It does not leave the skin oily or greasy.

CONS

  1. It is a bit pricey at £35 for a 350ml jar.

I may be buying this Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter again because I like it. The only issue for me is that I think it is a bit too expensive for what it is.

Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum

I got this serum because I love trying face serums, and I am in need of a good, affordable face serum. I have tried a few great ones, but I found them too pricey and was not able to continue using them. And that is how I bumped into this Clinique Smart Custom Repair Serum.

I have been using this serum for weeks now and I have quite a lot to say about it, but first here is the product description –

Here is a custom serum smart enough to understand your skin’s past and change its appearance in the future.

– Addresses the appearance of uneven skin tone, lines and wrinkles, firming, or radiance
– For all ages, all ethnicities
– Five years of research
– Patented technology

Here are my thoughts –

PROS

  1. Small and compact to carry around if needed.
  2. It feels great on the skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.
  3. A little goes a long way.
  4. Great for all ages and skin tones.
  5. It is fragrance free.
  6. It is easily accessible in most beauty stores like John Lewis, Clinique Website, and many more.

CONS

  1. Too expensive at £49 for a 30ml bottle.
  2. I have not noticed any massive difference on my face, so I am not sure it is doing much if any.

Overall, I know I won’t be buying this serum again.

What do you think of both products? Have you used any of them before?
