Gwen Stefani is on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine UK October 2016 issue and I am loving it. I am a HUGE fan of Gwen Stefani. I have kept her on my radar since her ‘No Doubt’ days and I am completely in awe of her ageless beauty. Who would believe this beauty is 46 years old. She could easily pass for a 30-year-old! I pray I look half as good as she does when I am her age.

I have a copy of this issue already and I am loving it so far. I am yet to get to her interview pages, but I know it is going to be a good read. I was shocked to hear about her divorce from Gavin Rossdale but I am happy to see she has moved on from it and seems to be in a good place. Her relationship with her new man – Blake Shelton seems to be heading in the right direction too. Here are some excerpts from her interview with Cosmopolitan:

On looking pretty tight with Blake Shelton during her second season on the show: “We were laughing our heads off when we saw the blind auditions. I love NBC, but they for sure edited stuff to look like we were flirting. They chose to run with that story before anything was even real. I hardly knew him. But it was like it was in the air — happening before it happened.”

On writing a song with Blake, which she never did with Gavin: “…We were both having trust issues, as you would if you were us. It was like, I have so many problems. How can I now be getting into another potentially huge problem? What am I doing? Blake wrote the song and sent it to me. He was like, ‘Help me finish it.’ I wrote a verse and sent it to him, but he was gone because he doesn’t live in L.A. He didn’t have Wi-Fi, so he wasn’t answering me back! As soon as he came back to town, he brought his guitar over. We were like, ‘We wrote a song together! This is crazy!'”

I suggest you grab a copy of this issue if you haven’t done so already. It is definitely worth reading.

The New Age of Beauty

The New Age of Beauty

New Hair Review

Beauty they say is in the eyes of the beholder. Every living being has their own definition of beauty. Some see beauty as anything natural, so minimal makeup, no hair extensions or weaves, no piercings or tattoos. Others see beauty as being skinny, no body hairs, full on makeup, hair extensions and weaves, tattoos, stylish pieces, fake boobs, fake butt, fake tan and anything fake, flashy or over the top

I see beauty differently. When I look at a beautiful woman, I see –

Brains – This is so major for me. Beauty and brains go hand in hand, I have zero tolerance for anyone who lacks in the intelligence department.

Flattering makeup.

Flattering hair extensions and weaves (if needed).

A healthy BMI – This is another major quality for me.

Good dentition – pearly whites are so easy on the eye.

Smooth/spotless skin.

No tattoos whatsoever – I thank God I did not go ahead with my teenage dream of having a tattoo. I would have had to visit a Tattoo Removal Clinic in my twenties, when I saw the light.

I find that my beauty qualities change as I grow older. Some qualities that would have made my teenage list, when I was like 13, or even 18, like being 6 feet tall and having an hour-glass shape, definitely do not make my list now that I am almost 30, and I am sure more qualities will come on and off my list in my forties and fifties.

I am 100% certain, that beauty will continue to evolve, and  that society will continue to dictate what we call beautiful, with the Bimbos and others continuously shoved in our faces everyday, if we allow it. I don’t, I live my by own rules, and when I see beauty, this is what I see:

BEYONCE

Beyonce

I admire the fact that Beyonce is beauty and brains combined. She is a strong, hard-working woman, and so beautiful.

Nicole Scherzinger

I love her stunning features. She is a true natural beauty. She rolls out of bed looking GLAM.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani

This woman does not seem to age. She looks exactly like how she looked 10 years ago and that is what I call a BEAUTY.

Genevieve Nnaji

This effortless African beauty is the truth. She reminds me of Queen Bey, beauty and brains here as well. I adore her.

Eva Longoria

I still cannot believe that Eva Longoria is in her 40s. Beauty goals right here. She can easily pass for a 28-year-old.
