Queen Bey is on the cover of Elle UK Magazine May 2016 issue and I am loving it. It feels like I have not see Beyoncé on a magazine cover in ages, so this looks refreshing. I love this Elle cover, simple but striking. I love her messy hair and light makeup, she looks very beautiful in a natural way. The white background also looks really good, this cover will surely catch many eyes on the newsstands.

In her interview with Elle, Beyoncé chats about freedom, feminism, how her new fashion line, Ivy Park, helps women love their bodies, and a lot more. Ivy Park is an active wear & athleisure collection, designed by Beyoncé in collaboration with Topshop. The collection features, flip-over waistband leggings, sport bras, sultry, mesh-accented bodysuits, snapbacks, tracksuits, functional patterned jackets, caps and hair bands. I am sure the fitness and Beyonce lovers cannot wait to get their hands on this collection.

I personally cannot wait to get my hands on this issue. I feel like I need to play catch up with one of my BFFs, lol.. I seriously admire this woman. I love majority of her songs, and music videos, and I hope this new clothing line does really well.

Hey peeps. Happy Good Friday. What are we all up to? I am chilling out and busy admiring this stunning Style Icon – Gal Gadot a.k.a Wonder Woman in “Batman v Superman. If you have seen Fast & Furious 6, then you would remember this stunning beauty. Gal Gadot is one stylish woman who rocks my fashion boat. She knows how to dress her figure, and she gets it right every freaking time. The Israeli-born actress, former beauty queen (Miss Israel 2004) and model is a beauty to behold and she is also so very stylish, too stylish in fact, she deserves the number 1 spot on every best dressed list, she is a true Style Queen.

Her style is feminine, edgy and sexy, and it works for her. I like the fact that she is quite predictable when it comes to her outfit choices. You can say she plays it safe most times, but why fix something that isn’t broken? I won’t change anything if I looked like that, lol. Would you?

You will easily spot Gadot in curve-hugging outfits and short, floral dresses, looking all shades of amazing. She inspires me every time I see her on and off the red carpet. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered she spilled some of her style and fitness secrets to Filler Magazine:

My role model is Madonna.

I’m a big fan of a good diet and healthy lifestyle. It’s important to eat a lot of vegetables, drink a lot of water and stay active. I believe that what we put in our bodies will reflect on the outside.

Style Icon: Leandra Medine – The Man Repeller

The stylish and quirky 27-year-old author and fashion blogger, Leandra Medine is the style icon today. For those who do not know, Leandra is the brain behind the American fashion blog – Man Repeller, a blog famous for documenting outfits women love to wear, and men love to hate. Leandra is known for her take no prisoners style, and the fact that she dresses for herself, and not for men or anyone else. In her words, she choose fashion over men, and she started her blog to showcase her style:

“There is a story that I’ve told a million times about being in Topshop with a close friend of mine, and I was complaining about the state of my love life and she essentially said, ‘Of course nobody wants to date you, you don’t dress for men,’ and it was sort of this really empowering moment for me where I was like, oh my gosh, I’m single by choice because I’m choosing fashion over the men. That’s when I started the blog.”

I first noticed Leandra’s style in 2013 when I set up Fashion and Style Police. She was one of the few fashion bloggers that caught my eye, and I have since been intrigued by her sense of style, and her writing. If you are having a bad day, just head over to her blog, you are sure to find various light-hearted posts to put you in a better mood.

I don’t think I will look half as good as she does, rocking most of her pieces, but I think it all boils down to self-confidence, which she has a lot of. For you to have a true personal style, you have to sort the confidence bit first. Leandra Medine can look good in anything because she CAN. I would want to be like how when I grow up, but then again, I am older than her, so I guessed I am grown up right?
