I can’t believe I am writing this post so soon but whether we like it or not, 2016 officially ends in a few days. It has been an amazing year all around for myself, my family and Fashion and Style Police. I am eager to end it to be honest, and get on with 2017, with the hope that it would be an even better year.
My style was featured heavily on the blog this year. I am a fashion lover so it is natural for me to showcase my style as I dish out fashion tips and tricks. It was difficult for me to select my favourite looks because I love all of them but I had to pick my best 12 looks in 2016. Here they are –
Bare Legs
This is one of my favourite looks of 2016 because I got to show off my legs on a chilly January day and it was a success!
I didn’t want to ruin the look with a pair of tights so I decided to brave it and I killed it!
How to Wear Leather Leggings
I really like this look. I remember it being so easy to style. Every piece fell into place. I can see myself rocking this entire look again.
Hello March
This is another favourite look of 2016. This outfit is everything in my eyes. I think I looked super stylish. That Sari Kaftan top is definitely a winner. I wear it a lot.
Back to the Roots
This outfit was inspired by my African roots and I love it. The African print skirt is one of my summer favourites. Like the others, I found this look also very easy to style.
How to Style a Black Dress
This black dress was one of my spring/summer favourites. It was super easy to style as you can imagine and it is a very comfy piece. I am super in love with it.
Colour Me Beautiful
This outfit was one of the most colourful outfits featured on Fashion and Style Police this year and it is also one of my favourite looks of the year. I love the colurful summer dress and everything else I have on, from head to toe.
A Summer Dress
Summer was an amazing fashion season for me. Looking back now, I had my fashion game so on point. This makes me wonder why I am so lazy this winter as far as outfits are concerned. I think my fashion mojo is kind of tied to various seasons which is weird because this layering season is my favourite fashion season but all I want to do is stay under my duvet.

Another summer look I love. I love the styling game here. Definitely one ne of my favourite summer looks of 2016. And the sandals are bang on trend.

I remember rocking this outfit to a summer BBQ and feeling good. The coral top was very stylish and comfy. I can’t wait to wear it next summer.
Style Comfort Zone
I thought this outfit would be one of “those ones”, the ones I have to style because I was sent a secret item I won’t have picked myself but have to feature on the blog because I am good like that. Well I was pleasantly surprised to see how stunning the outfit turned out. I love the look.
Styling a White Shirt
I love this look. I really really love it. It has a special place in my heart because it holds so many amazing memories of open doors for Fashion and Style Police. And styling it was dead easy for me too.
A Digital Nomad
And the last but definitely not the least is my latest outfit – A Digital Nomad.
This look is so me. It is how you would see me on a regular winter day and I am very happy to read the comments; many of my readers are able to relate with the look.
