Hey beauty lovers! Another week in the new week, another beauty blog post. The first beauty muse for the year 2022 is the stunning Zoe Kravitz. This beauty is an American actress, singer, and model. She is the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, and she is featured in big hits like Big Little Lies, X-Men First Class. This talented beauty muse is also featured in The Batman as Catwoman, which is due to be released later this year.

Beauty Muse: Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz’s facial features are striking and always catch my attention. She has the most beautiful skin and her makeup is always on point. I was not surprised to discover Kravitz gets her beauty philosophy from her mum – Lisa Bonet. Here are some of her tried and tested beauty tips from an interview she had with Women’s Health Mag:

Coconut Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil

“Coconut oil is wonderful, I use it on my body. Every time I get out of the shower, I put coconut oil on. It’s great,”

I agree with Zoe on this one. I love using coconut oil and I use it every day. It is a great skin and hair moisturiser. I always ensure I have a bottle of natural coconut oil in my bathroom cabinet every time. It is so handy to have around.

She also revealed she uses tea tree oil because it’s “great for blemishes.”

Tea Tree Essential Oil is amazing. I have used it for many years in a variety of ways and it is so great. To get rid of blemishes, dab a few drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil on the area.

Like I mentioned in this post, I have essential bottles for sale, and Tea Tree Essential Oils are currently in stock. You can shop them here. To read her full interview, click on here.

I am now an essential oil guru. There are so many bottles of essential oils in my house so expect many blog posts on them. My recent addition to my essential oils collection is this Tea Tree Oil by Tisserand. I have used this essential oil many times, it is so good. It can be used in many different ways. I use this oil on my hair, it also helps me when I have a blocked nose, a few drops on my pillow and I have a good night sleep. I have also used it to get rid of little ants and bugs around the house. If you need to try one essential oil this summer, I would strongly recommend you try Tea Tree Essential Oil.

How to make hand wash with essential oils

*Affiliate links.

Have you been struggling to buy a hand wash? It looks like they are sold out worldwide now. I can’t seem to find them anywhere! The hand wash being sold online now are going for exorbitant prices. With all the hand washing required now, I can see why many are stocking up and why the shelves are empty. This is why we should consider making our own hand wash with essential oils. I started playing around again with essential oils last month. Essential Oils can be very harmful if you don’t know how to use them. I have blogged before about me thinking essential oils were just regular oils, and how it almost drained me. So I know how strong these oils can be. However, the pros outweigh the cons massively and that’s why I decided to try using them again with caution. If you haven’t used essential oils before, I won’t recommend you try making your hand wash with these oils. It is best to have some experience using essential oils on its own before you start creating products with them.

Homemade products don’t preservatives, which is why you should only make the amount you will need for about 2 weeks or so. You can decide to not include the essential oils if you like or you could use other types. I like the Tea Tree essential oil because it includes antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Lavender Essential Oil smells amazing and it also promotes relaxation.

I will be sharing clips of the hand wash mixture I have made on social media in the few days, so keep your eyes peeled. Thanks for reading and do let me know how your mixture turns out if you try this recipe. Links to all the products mentioned here are below –
