The Story of the Orange Essential Pure Organic Oil

The early Arabs were the first to write about the orange, which originated in China. The exact date of its arrival in Europe is not known. It was successfully introduced from Europe to the West Indies in the 15th century, and from there to the New World – the Americas – where it is now mainly grown as a commercial crop.

Sweet orange essential oil is widely used as a food flavouring in confectionary and also as a fragrance note in soaps and toiletry products.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS
  1. I love the fresh citrus fragrance. It smells amazing.
  2. This Essential Oil can be used in a variety of ways like I mentioned before.
  3. It blends in with other essential and carrier oils easily. The best oils to blend the Orange Essential Oil with are Frankincense, Citronella and Ginger.
  4. This Tisserand Orange Essential Oil is pure, 100% natural, vegan and organic.
  5. The orange fragrance stays fresh in the bottle for many months. I have had mine since November 2020 and it still smells like I have newly opened it.
  6. It currently retails at just £3.93 for a 9ml bottle. You can grab yours via the link below –

Charity of the Month: Action For Children

The charity of the month is Action For Children. This charity is one very close to my heart because it helps and supports vulnerable children and their families across the UK. Action For Children also work with decision makers to ensure government policies protect children, now and in the future.

Charity of the Month

Some of the many ways Action For Children support children from the early years are by:

  • Running over 100 Children’s Centres all over the UK.
  • Having classes for parents.
  • Working with local partners to offer health visitor services, speech therapy sessions and access to midwives.

I could go on and on listing all the amazing things Action For Children is doing in the UK. It is a great charity worth supporting if you are able to.

Supporting charities is what I like to do. Many may think I am able t do this because I have loads of money and that is not completely true. I enjoy giving those who are truly in need and I believe every little helps. This charity of the month blog series is a way for me to support charities online and encourage others to give if they can. Giving does not have to include money. You can give back by liking, commenting and sharing this post so more people get to read it. Also, you can support Action For Children through volunteering, raising money by running a marathon, organising a tea party, or challenging yourself in other ways and getting your family and friends to support you in raising money for a good cause. You can read more about fundraising and supporting the charity here. If you want to donate, click here.

Also, you can watch the video below by Action For Children on ending childhood crisis.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day wherever you are.

Charity of the Month – Comic Relief

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the long Easter weekend wherever you are. The sun is shining here. We have been enjoying the sunshine here for the last few days now. I hope the sunny days stay for a bit longer. The charity of the month this April is Comic Relief. A few weeks ago, Comic Relief celebrated Red Nose Day and it was great to see the different ways individuals and organisations got involved. It is always important to support charities who intern support others. This year has been tough for many people in different ways and I am always eager to get involved with charities and do my bit.

How the donation is allocated

The money received from donations is allocated as grants to various charities. These charities help support those who are living tough lives in the UK and all around the world.

I think Comic Relief is doing an amazing job for those struggling to make ends meet. It is amazing to see how they support thousands of charities with grants.

Getting involved

You can get involved with Comic Relief through fundraising. Catch up on all the relevant information here. Also, you can also donate to Comic Relief. Your donations go a long way in shaping the lives of families all over the world. For example, £30 could support a child in Uganda to access early years education for a whole year, £50 could pay to get 200 meals to vulnerable children and their families in the UK. You can donate here. You can also support Comic Relief by shopping on their online store. They have cute noses, bottles, shirts, accessories and more on sale.
