OOTD: Its All About the Print

Leopard Print Outfit Picture

I love animal prints so much. I think the designs look so fiery, just like I am sometimes. I guess that is the reason why I keep buying more and more animal print pieces and accessories. I just can’t get enough. I just find them so beautiful and super stylish!

This Animal Print top is one of my new summer additions. The print got my attention, and I love the fact that it is a light, sleeveless top. Just what I need for this dead warm season. I can also rock this beautiful piece with a cardigan or a blazer when the weather gets a bit chilly. I like pieces I can rock in multiple seasons as I get more wear out of them, which is more value for money.

The bag is also another summer newbie. I love my bags quality, so I knew I had to have this beauty once I laid my eyes on it. I love the colours, and the size. It was also sale, which was a plus. I can see myself rocking these newbies for a long time because they both complement my existing wardrobe, and that is a HUGE deal for me. Nowadays, I hardly go on massive shopping sprees, where is the money? But when I do go shopping, I like getting what I NEED, or what I think I NEED, and I make sure whatever it is I am getting complements my existing wardrobe. That way, I never run out of options, or matching outfits if I am in the mood to match.

OOTD: Style My Dress

Style a Dress Challenge

Hey guys. I hope you all enjoyed the Easter holidays, I know I did. I had a long chilled weekend with the family, and I didn’t want the bank holiday to be over. I am looking forward to the next bank holiday already, lol.

Today, I bring to you an outfit post, dedicated to House of Fraser’s #stylemydress challenge. This challenge is all about dresses. Basically, different UK fashion bloggers, styling the same Vero Moda boxy mini dress, in either black or grey, and an additional ‘secret’ accessory (I got a hat), and publishing our various outfit posts around the same time.

Style Vero Moda Dress

This is my first Vero Moda piece, and I love it. I have lusted after, and written so many blog posts about the Vero Moda collection, so having a dress by the designer is great. I went for a black pair as you can see, and I am glad I did. I found it so easy to style the piece. I love the loose fit, perfect for the upcoming summer months.

I really wanted to rock this piece with my bare legs but it was way too windy for that, and I didn’t want to risk flashing anyone while running around the retail park picking up bits and bobs, so I styled my dress with my leather pants, better safe, than sorry right?

However I am looking forward to rocking this piece on holiday, somewhere nice and warm, and at home as well, when the weather is warm and still, there is a lot of wind at the moment. What I love most about this dress is how versatile and affordable it is. You can grab this beauty for £14 only, and it is a great dress to wear for the entire year, once you layer up and down according.

OOTD: Hello March

OOTD: Hello March

Charlotte's Web Top Image

Hello everyone. Happy new month. Welcome to March. I can’t believe I blogged  everyday, sometimes twice a day in February. I hope to carry on doing the same for the rest of the year. It is a bit hard to come up with a new post everyday not to mention twice a day, but I am not complaining.  I enjoy blogging.

To kick off the new month, I have an outfit post for you and it is all about this Charlotte’s Web Recycled Brocade Sari top. I received this beauty some weeks ago and I have finally got around to wearing it. I was so inspired by Moji from Moj In Touch, she wore a similar piece some days ago, and her post opened my eyes to how best to style this piece. Check out her cool fashion blog if you haven’t already.

This sari top comes in various colours – red, black, gold green, purple pattern, pink and orange, red cherry and more colours, so there should be a colour for everyone. It is called a ‘jacket’ on the online site, but I wore my as a top. I couldn’t picture this piece looking as good if I wore it as a jacket, so I didn’t.

I wore mine with blue skinny jeans, heels, clutch bag and good old sunnies. Leggings will also look amazing paired with this piece.

All saris are lovingly hand-picked in India by Charlotte, the designer. Once the saris have all been selected, then it is over to the tailors to create each unique, beautiful piece. I love the fact that every piece is totally unique, I won’t find any other sari that is exactly the same as mine and that feels good. Makes this beauty even more special.
