What To Wear To A Spring Wedding

It is getting warmer and the wedding season is here. I wore this dress to my brother’s church wedding last month and I felt like a Queen in it. I remember seeing this beauty in House of Fraser during the January sales and I just knew it was going to be The Dress and it so was.

Sweet Spring Day

So it is officially spring here in England but it still doesn’t feel like it. We have had rain almost everyday now which comes together with spring,  but it is still cold and quite windy most days here in Cheshire. I am sick of layering up now. I am so looking forward to the warmer months ahead.

I have to find the time to get my spring and summer clothes out of storage soon though. I should have that sorted this week or next hopefully. I also need to get some accessories, blazers and other new season pieces. All will be done in time I guess. 24 hours in a day is so not enough for me anymore.

Anyone else looking forward to the warmer months? Excuse the picture heavy post, I just could not decide on what to post and what to get rid of, so I posted all.

What To Wear To The Office

I got this Next tweed blazer some years ago and I so love styling it. The tweed jacket reminds me of Coco Chanel and it oozes chic and sophistication, and was and still is a status symbol for women. This Next piece is a great imitation of the famous Chanel tweed blazer designs, and is a stylish blazer to wear to the office.

It is a valuable piece to have in your wardrobe as it is quite easy to style. For this look, I styled mine with a sweater, mini skirt, opaque tights and boots, but you can style yours with a shirt and trousers, top and jeans or a dress.

I usually style this tweed jacket with black as the main colour as it makes the jacket stand out. Check out how I previously styled it here, and tell me which look you prefer?
