I have heard a lot of good things about green tea, and I have been dying to try some for myself. So I was over the moon when I got the opportunity to try some Dream Matcha Green Tea the other day. I have been having a good cup of green tea everyday now. The benefits of drinking green tea are too numerous to mention here, but my aim is to touch on the main benefits.
When I think of Nootropics, the first thing that comes to mind is Green Tea. Green Tea leaves are full of amazing benefits and it is certainly more highly recommended than any beverage. I have always known green tea to be full of health benefits, but I was blown away by the amazing benefits a cup of freshly brewed green tea could do for me.
I have been loving this Dream Matcha Tea. The green tea comes as an extremely fine, bright green powder. It has a silky smooth taste, which is great. I am a huge fan of this brand of Green Tea.
If you are contemplating trying some green tea, here are some of the main benefits of drinking green tea.
Helps with weight loss
Green tea contains no calories. Aside from that, green tea is known to have a higher dose of antioxidants than that contained in vegetables. The antioxidants in green tea called catechin polyphenols help to speed up the rate of your metabolism and burn your calories faster. That’s what makes it extremely effective in weight loss.
Lowers cholesterol levels
Most fatty foods contain what is called LDL cholesterol, which is also known as “bad cholesterol”. Bad cholesterol is known to block the linings of your arteries and if not kept under check, can lead to several cardiovascular diseases like stroke or heart attack.
Tannins found in green tea can reduce the level of bad cholesterol in your blood. What this does is to clear the buildup of cholesterol. Green tea also reduces the rate at which cholesterol is absorbed into your system.
Ensures a healthy heart
Cardiovascular disease can be really scary as it presents no symptoms especially at the early stages. Drinking green tea regularly helps to promote a healthy heart. It does this with the flavinoids contained in the green tea. The flavinoids also help in lowering your blood pressure. For those who are suffering from a heart condition or who have experienced a heart attack, green tea could help you recover faster.
Relieves you from stress
One of the most common problems we face in the world is stress. When not controlled, stress can cause a lot of harm. Green tea does help relieve stress, which is fab!
Promotes healthy skin
Green tea does wonders for the skin, thanks to its antioxidants. It contains anti-ageing properties that help to minimize the signs of wrinkles or fine lines.
What do you think of Green Tea? Are you a fan? Have you tried Dream Matcha Green Tea?

I love green tea! I have at least two cups a day, when I first tried it I really didn’t like it but after finding out all the health benefits to it I continued to drink it and now love it 💚X
Oh good x
Wow there are so many benefits! I wish I liked it, but I just don’t. Sometimes I’ll make a smoothie with green tea, in an attempt to have some without it tasty so…green 🙂
I know what you mean. I guess you just get use to the green taste eventually. It either like it or you don’t.
There are so many great properties and benefits to Green Tea but I’ve never been able to take to it. I’ve tried some other brands before but never liked the taste. Does this taste any better or smoother than other brands Stella?
This does taste a lot smoother than some I have tasted.

I drink green tea regularly but I’ve never tried matcha tea. I didn’t realise it helps to lower cholesterol though – this is definitely something for my fiance then!
It does. So healthy.
I have a lot of green tea in the cupboard, I’ll have to start using it! I never realised it had so many health benefits.
I used to drink a lot of it as I knew it was good for your heart but I noticed that if I have a green tea and it’s too strong in the morning, I feel a bit nauseous! I happened after becoming pregnant…
I like green tea occasionally. I knew it was very good for your health, though not that it had all these benefits.
My husband is a big green tea drinker, not sure whether he has heard of this brand

Tea is great for so many things, health benefits, R&R! And that’s not even mentioning it’s delicious and complex flavors. Along with innumerable nutrients, tea leaves naturally contain both caffeine and theanine! Caffeine is the more known and sought after chemical in leaves due to its stimulating qualities. However, unchecked caffeine causes crashes and cravings. This is where tea becomes superior to other caffeinated beverages. The theanine that is naturally in tea counteracts the negative effects of caffeine, the crashes and cravings, and encourages alpha brainwave activity, which results in a meditative state that Buddhist monks have been taking advantage of for centuries in order to stay awake while meditating in first China and Japan, but this is now practiced by Buddhist monks worldwide.
