Me being a Shopaholic is no news. I love to shop, especially online. I find online shopping easy and convenient. I don’t have to deal with commuting back and forth with 2 screaming toddlers. I got this Little Mistress skater orange dress with embellished belt detail on the Octer marketplace. This is my first piece from the Little Mistress brand, and I have fallen in love with it. I got a size 10, and it is a perfect fit. The embellished belt detail draws attention to the waist, which I like, and the colour is perfect for the season. I have a few events to attend in the next few weeks, and this dress will be worn to at least 1 of them.

The funniest thing happened while I was getting ready to shoot these outfit photos. I was getting glammed up and all, getting ready to shoot, and just when I was about to step out of the house, the heavens opened, and down came the heaviest rain we have had all the week. It was funny and annoying at the same time. I didn’t even know how to react. I knew it rained some hours ago, and it looked like it was still going to rain, but I thought I could get some outfit photos shot in time. I was so wrong. It rained and rained for a good hour.

Once the rain stopped, I quickly had the photos taken. The unpredictable British weather has taught me so many life lessons. Opportunities can come and go in a split second, I need to be present, and make hay while the sun still shines!

I usually get tempted to take indoor outfit photos on rainy days. I tried taking some on this day but they were not as good as I wanted so I had to wait for the rain to stop. Having some form of coverage like a beautiful canopy, in the garden would have been fantastic for rainy days, and days when the weather is just off, and when outfit shots have to be taken. I am seriously thinking of making the most of our outdoor space, and canopies sound like an amazing idea for blog photos and family use.

Black has an amazing slimming effect, suits all body types, and is so easy to accessorise. What is there not to love right?

How is the weather at your end? My end has been fab. I am loving the sunshine, I can feel summer approaching, and it is getting me in the mood for a holiday. Thomas Cook has some amazing deals on at the moment, with offers like £100 off a Las Vegas trip, £150 off a return trip to Orlando Florida, and many other cool offers. I think it is fair to say I deserve a proper outside the UK holiday, so I will be looking into booking a holiday soon. Speaking of holidays, have you got any planned for the rest of the year?

Now back to this outfit, I got this monochrome short sleeve T-shirt dress some months ago. It is one of the spring/summer newbies in my wardrobe, and I have worn it quite a few times already. It is one of those tops, you can dress up and down easily, which makes it one of my favourites at the moment. On lazy days, when I can’t think, I can just throw it up with a pair of leggings/jeggings and flats, and I am a good to go. You need everyday pieces like this in your wardrobe, they make life a lot easier some days.

I can see myself adding a few pieces and accessories here and there, but overall, I am ready to step out in style this seasosn, lol..Someone may need to hide my bank cards though, just to make sure I don’t do anymore shopping, lol, just kidding..
