Goodbye 2018

We have less than 48 hours left in 2018 and I am super excited to bid this year farewell. It was a good year with ups and downs. I grew a lot this year. It was challenging in some cases but the challenges made me take the bull by the horn and keep moving. I know 2019 is going to be a much better year all around, and I can’t wait to see what the new year brings.

Before we heard into 2019, here are some highlights of my year –

My Birthday in January

I started the year off with my Birthday as a January baby. I had a good time celebrating another year. The thirties are being very good to me and I am loving it.

Trip to New York and Maryland

We visited New York and Maryland in April. It was a fun trip. We all had a great time and it is one holiday I can’t ever forget. I wrote a few blog posts about our trip to New York and some of the places we visited. I also wrote about our road trip from New York to Maryland, so play catch up on the posts if you missed any.

My babies graduated Pre School in July and that was a big deal in our house. They are growing very fast before my very eyes and it has been amazing watching them thrive.

Collaborating with brands

This year has been brilliant with me working with some amazing brands in different ways. Long may it continue.

Got to Film with Mumsnet and F and F Clothing

I got to film with Mumsnet and F and F Clothing last summer. It was my first time filming with a brand and it was a lovely experience. I got to step out of my comfort zone and do something completely different and I loved it.

Started my YouTube Channel

Half Term in Portugal

We visited the lovely city of Algarve in Portugal over half term in October and it was amazing. We enjoyed the lovely weather and the resort we stayed in was fantastic. It was a lovely short holiday.

I started my YouTube channel in the summer as well. It has been on my mind for years and I am glad 2018 was the year I finally decided to just do it. I have not posted a video on there in a long time but I plan to be more consistent next year. I am hoping to grow my channel a little more so do check it out if you can.

How has this year been for you? Any new year resolutions for 2019?

  1. I felt like my year had been quiet this year until I looked back at the blog but we have had some amazing adventures. Long may they continue

  2. I lost my mum in 2017 so last year was one of ‘finding myself’ and understanding everything that had changed. It’s made me a stronger person and I’m looking forward to seeing what 2019 has in store x
