Outfit Post – Styling A One Shoulder Dress

Summer is as good as gone now. There is a chill in the air and I have mixed feelings about it. I miss the sunshine and warm weather now that it is not here anymore. But I am kind of looking forward to the cooler days and nights ahead. I also love Autumn/Winter fashion, so I am super excited about that too. How have you been?

I got this Black One Shoulder Maxi Dress – Opal some weeks ago. The One Shoulder design took me way back to my days in uni when this style was in vogue. I wore the hell out of one strap pieces and I am happy to see they are back.

This stunning black dress is a fashion lover’s dream.  The stunning one shoulder bodycon maxi dress would flaunt your figure beautifully. It is also dead easy to style up or down to suit every occasion which is fab. I love this dress.

This Louise Black Faux Suede Cork Wedge Sandals is also a new addition to my shoe collection. I got it some weeks ago and I have worn it a few times already now. I love the wedge heel. It is super comfy and stylish at the same time. The sandals are perfect for everyday wear which is how I like my sandals to be. And they are so easy on the eyes. What do you think? The sandals to me are stylish + comfy = me wearing it every chance I get.

Outfit Post – A Tommy Hilfiger Casual Look

Summer is on the day out. The days and nights are getting chilly with more rain. And Autumn (or Fall like my American friends call it) is definitely on the way in. I would miss the long sunny days but definitely not the extreme temperatures. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons so I am looking forward to it. I love the autumn/winter fashion, and can’t wait to start styling some pieces on her. But for now, I need to publish all my summer outfits pictures on Fashion and Style Police. This Tommy Hilfiger Casual Look was taken some weeks ago. I love the colours styled here. They look so good together.

Lately, I have been so into casual looks. It could be my own way of making the most of the summer season before it bids us farewell until 2019. Or it could just be me wanting to stay dead comfy. I like this look here. it was dead easy to style. I got the T-shirt from Macy’s while holidaying in the US earlier in the year. Everything else I have on is an oldie but goldie.

As a fashion blogger, many would think I shop on a regular basis, which is so far from the truth. With 2 growing toddlers, I hardly shop for myself these days. But when I do, I make sure I invest in quality pieces so they last a long time. That way I have more clothing and accessories for longer.

Style Tip

Go for quality over quantity and save money in the long run.

Outfit Post – Styling a T-shirt for September

I am happy September is finally here and I am styling a t-shirt for September. August was a very busy month. And it felt like it took forever at a point. So I am glad the new month is now here. I can see September being even more busy than August. The kids are back to school in the next few days, and we are all looking forward to that. All what they need for school is ready and I am eager for a bit more structure to our days.

A lot would be happening here on Fashion and Style Police this September and the rest of the year. It is going to be super busy. I am working on all sorts and dying to share them all with you.

I wore this outfit some days ago to a theme park with the kids. It was a lazy style day, and I wanted an outfit I would move freely in. We were planning to go on rides, so I needed to be dead comfy. This outfit worked great for the day. I got the t-shirt as a souvenir gift from Japan earlier in the year. I like the white, red and gold shirt design. Looking at the shirt, I thought it was going to be a lot bigger on me, but I was happy to see it was the right size once it was on me.

Styling the t-shirt was dead easy. I just went for a pair of leggings, flats and a cross body bag, because I needed my hands free for the day. It was super easy to style, I could even do it in my sleep. I love having t-shirts in my wardrobe because they save me on lazy days. And I think they always look smart. What do you think of styling a t-shirt?
