January Fashion Wishlist 2016

With the January sales in full swing, I am currently lusting after so many cool pieces and accessories, wishing I had an unlimited shopping budget. Almost everything has been seriously slashed, I am talking about 50% – 75% off the original prices, which is great news for us shopaholics. I know I said in my New Year Fashion & Style Resolutions, I will be reducing the amount of clothes I buy this year, because I currently have an insane amount in my wardrobe, but I also said I would be investing in high-end accessories, and playing around with my style a little, so a bit of shopping is required (wink wink).

So with my bank cards at the ready, here are the items on my wish list for January:

High Quality Sheep Leather Jacket with Zips £159 £119.99

Leather Jacket

This stylish Esprit leather jacket will fill a void in my wardrobe. Do you all remember the post I wrote about my Guess faux leather jacket? Well, I am still yet to replace my leather jacket, so grabbing this piece during the sale will be a good idea. I love the colour of the jacket a lot, and the whole zip detailing. It also looks like a good quality piece. In my head, I have styled this jacket up with pieces in my wardrobe already. I am eager to get my hands on this beauty.

Wool Blend Sweater Dress £55 £39.99

Sweater Dress

This Esprit wool blend sweater dress is right up my street. I can picture myself rocking this piece with black tights, knee-length boots and a scarf. I love the berry red colour, I have nothing like it in my wardrobe, and the wide scoop neckline is perfect for me. This sweater dress also comes in a taupe colour, but I prefer the berry red. Red is the colour of the season right?

Darci Stainless Steel Watch £259 £149

This Michael Kors stainless steel Darci watch is a beauty indeed. The Crystal embellished bezel gives the watch a stunning look. I also love the polished shine. This is on my watch list at the moment, my watch collection needs a new addition.

STEPHAN Wine High Heel £160 £119

This ankle high heel boots by Kurt Geiger is so easy on the eyes. I love the scarlet red block heel, reminds me of a Christian Louboutin. It will be nice to inject some more colour into my shoe collection this year, so I may be grabbing a pair.

Greenwich Black Mini Zip Tote Bag £205 £143

I am a DKNY lover so this eye candy had to be on my wish list. A classic handbag is always a good investment so it is no brainer really.  I love it.

What do you think of these items? Which is your favourite?

OOTD: How to Style the Ugg Boots

Outfit Post OOTD 1

I fell hopelessly in love with Ugg Boots in 2008. Yea I still remember the exact year, I am weird like that. I just started my Masters course at Bristol University, in the middle of winter, and I wanted something to keep me warm and look stylish at the same time. Ugg Boots are my guiltiest fashion pleasure, but I am not so guilty. I have four pairs now; blue, black, brown and grey, and I am not done yet. I find them so comfortable but yet stylish. The bridge between comfort and style, should be called UGG BOOTS, I am giving the brand free press here and I know it, but I don’t care, I love their boots sooooo much.

River Island Outfit Post

I love my uggs

It breaks my heart to hear some women say they find Ugg Boots too casual, not chic enough to wear outside the house, and I am like, WHAT? Don’t get me wrong, I know you can’t pair them with an evening dress or a suit, or wear them to a formal event, like a wedding or a dinner date, but Ugg Boots have their ow place. They can be worn on shopping days, running errands, school runs, and the likes.

They are great with a pair of skinnies or leggings, on those days when you want to look casual-chic. Here are some ways for you to style the Ugg Boots and some ways you shouldn’t:

  1. Wear with no make-up and a messy hair for the chilled out look.
  2. Do not wear with tracksuits. You will look trashy.
  3. They look great with chunky knit, and skinnies.
  4. You can pair your Ugg Boots with a long tunic or tux shirt, and show off your bare legs, if it is not too cold.

Ugg Boots are the winter staple for the fashion conscious, stylish woman, and I see they being around for a very long time, but still, they divide the fashion savvy. Many believe they’re best worn in the comfort of their home, while others like me see them as fashion staple.

December 2015 Outfits Posts

Today is the first Monday in the month of January, and I am looking forward to starting 2016 right on the right path. I had a few outfit posts in December, check them out below, just in case you missed them.

OOTD: Happy Holidays

Fashion Outfit Post UK

This outfit was all about this Luxemme Chunky Distressed Jumper. I love this jumper a lot, it is very different from anything else I have in my winter wardrobe, and the colour is so beautiful, like a breath of fresh air. If you don’t believe me, check out the post for yourself, link above.

The Oversized Jumper

H&M Jumper OOTD

This outfit was all about the oversized trend, and the accessories came out to play too. I have worn this H&M jumper quite a few times already, and I find it so easy to style. I just throw it on most days when I can’t be bothered to make an effort. The Michael Kors trainers was another highlight of this outfit.

OOTD: Footsteps to Follow

Fashion and Style Police Outfit Post

This look was my favourite look of all for December and I think it is the same for majority as this outfit post has the most comments, as well as views. I styled the pieces in my head before I actually wore it, but I didn’t think it would look as half as good as it did. I love EVERYTHING about this look. I think I slayed it…….

OOTD: Season Tweetings

Season Tweetings

I stepped outside my comfort zone with this look. It was my first time wearing a suspender and I loved it. The jumper was also my first Christmas Jumper and I like the fact that it is very different compared to all the others I saw over the holidays. This green Joules piece doesn’t look as cheesy, lol.

You can grab a similar jumper and many more stylish Joules pieces, and get a 45% off selected jumpers and sweaters while you are at it. Don’t you just love the sales? So cool…

So there you have it, my outfit posts for December 2015. For those who do not know, OOTD stands for Outfit Of The Day, yea I had someone ask me once, lol…

Which look is  your favourite? Drop me a comment, let’s chat.
