1.You like them in person

Choosing the right photographer for your wedding does not always come down to how good they are technically. You might hire the best photographer in your area but if you don’t feel at ease working with him then his expertise will not be reflected on the photos as you will not be able to enjoy the day as you are supposed to.The best wedding photos needs to look natural and if you are not free with the photographer, you will not be able to pose naturally as you should. Meet a couple of photographers and sure to choose a photographer who you will “click.” You can always tell a person who you like, I don’t really need to get to the details about that. The wedding photographer needs to be passionate and excited as you.

2.You love their style

There are probably hundreds of photographers in your area and each photographer has his or her own style. There are those who are artistic, others are traditional and others are very modern. Find a photographer who has a style that you like and a style that reflects the theme of your wedding day. Make sure that you like the style in which the photographer edits his photos and you love some images that he has done before.

3. Ask to see a complete wedding

While you are looking for the best photographers such as WURE wedding photographer in your area, they are most probably going to show you photos that reflects their best works. If he gives you like 5 photos that are impressive, you will not be able to tell if he is really good. If you love some of their works, then ask to see 2 or 3 complete wedding album that he did to different couples. You are looking consistency and the album that he provides to you needs to tell a beautiful story. But if you like the albums that he provides to you, then he is most probably a good photographer. If the photographer doesn’t have an album for you to see, then he might not be worth hiring.

4. You trust the photographer

Knowing and trusting your photographer will allow you to trust that he is going to do his work the right way. You will be happy and confident about him and if you feel such a thing for a person, then you will be able to pose in any style without fearing that the photographer is going to judge you or anything like that. Also, if something wrong happens during the session, you will be able to ask him no matter how silly it might seem.

How do you know that you can trust the photographer? Well, you really don’t have a lot of time to spend with the photographers so you need to create an automatic connection. After meeting a photographer that you can trust, he or she is going to answer any question that you may have politely no matter how stupid you might think it is. And your gut can always tell you if you can trust the photographer or not.You don’t want to hire a photographer who you will keep worrying about his whereabouts during the wedding day.

After you feel that you can trust the photographer, speak to him about some photos that you may want beforehand and from there you can leave the other things to him to decide. If he has the experience, he will know how to follow the procedure and he will be able to catch those candid moments that you were not even expecting. All you need to do is trust your photographer and everything is going to be alright.

5. You would recommend the perfect wedding photographer

Another way of knowing that you have found the right photographer is if you would recommend him. Ask yourself if you would ask your friend to hire the photographer should a day come when she needs to hire a wedding photographer. If you are having doubts if you would recommend him or not, then he might not the perfect wedding photographer that you need. Ensure that the person you pick is someone who you trust and someone you can recommend to your friends.

6. Lightning situation of your wedding

Well, you we need to be real a little bit. You can’t just hire a person just because you like him and forget all about the skills. If you are going to be having an indoor wedding, you need to make sure that the wedding photographer you hire has the experience needed to do photography in indoor weddings. Don’t just assume that because he has been doing photography for a long time he has experience in everything. Ask to see some of the photos that he shot in an indoor weeding and if you like the photos then you can go for him. If he doesn’t have any proof that he has done indoor wedding photo shoot before, then you can go for another photographer with experience in low light photography.

7. Price and the offer

When you are looking for the price of the photographer, make sure you check out what he offers too. Look for things like second shooters, engagement session included, JPGs albums and other things that the package might be offering. Also keep it in mind that the most expensive is not always the best and the cheapest is not always the worst. So choose wisely the package you go for.

Preserving Memories Through Photography

When I was younger, I hated having my pictures taken. It just felt weird. I was like this until I got into university for my first degree. Anyone that knew me well enough then knew I hated taking photographs with me in it. I gradually grew out of this and started loving photography. Now that I think of it, I think it’s all down to confidence. I didn’t feel confident enough to pose and take a photo. I felt I never looked good in them, so I avoided photography completely. Which is so weird to think of now as I am a blogger and take photographs almost everyday.

I love that my kids like taking pictures. They have loved the camera right from when they were babies. They are always camera ready. And they never get tired of taking selfies on any phone they can lay their little hands on. That could be because they are forever watching me taking photos, so they are mirroring that act right back. Which is why we have to be cautious of how we live our lives around our children because they are paying attention.

It is a great brand with the most amazing service. I found their website very easy to navigate. Placing this order was very straightforward.

I have been dying to get some my pictures printed and some framed. So I was very happy to get my hands on some CanvasChamp Canvas Prints to decorate the house and preserve some memories. I got this Canvas Print some days ago, and it will be going into the kids room. Preserving memories through photography is definitely the way to go. Which is why I plan to get some more Canvas Prints.

The twins were few days old in this photo. We took it at the hospital during one of their many snoozes. I love the shot a lot. They look like they are having a proper conversation. It is such a cute photograph.

One thing I love about being a blogger is the fact that I get to take lots of pictures. Discovering CanvasChamp has been a blessing because their prints are super affordable. And they deliver them very quickly too, which is great customer service. I know I will be using their service again and again.

5 Tips for Great Indoor Blog Photos

I have written a couple of times on Photography and how to get your photos looking as stunning as possible. I am a sucker for beautiful photography. And with my 2 Canon cameras, iPhone and Samsung Galaxy phones, I try to take as many beautiful photos as I can. It can be tricky to take the right photos, especially in the winter season. But as a blogger, taking beautiful photos is a very important part of the job. It is a lot easier to edit the photos when the raw photos are looking great.

Here 5 tips for great indoor blog photos –

Get some natural light

Natural lighting is the best form of light you need for stunning. photography. If you need to take some blog photos indoors, get as close as you can to some natural light, so close to a window or open door.

An easy way of going about is to get an abundance of natural light into the room you intend to get your photos taken. Some ultra sky roof lanterns would be great for this. They ensure the room is naturally bright, which helps create great indoor photos.

Switch off the flash

I prefer taking photos without the flash. The flash usually ruins the look I want, with the flat and one-dimensional photos it creates. Switching off the flash and getting some natural light is the best option. If you are unable to get in some natural light, you could get some studio lightning kits to help create some professional looking photos.

Get some photo props

Photos props to enhance your photos. I got the white fluffy rug you see in a lot of my photos from IKEA, it was about £12. I also got loads of samples of wall papers from B&Q for free. I also use them as photo props. Magazines, wrapping papers and beautiful stands can also be used. I try to vary my photo props so all my blog photos do not look the same.

Be aware of your environment

Ensuring the background of your photo is looking is very important. You don’t want to spend all the time in the world editing on Photoshop, so ensure the background is looking the way you want and is free from clutter. Being aware of your environment will save you a lot of time and energy.

Check your camera setting and positioning

Ensure you always check your camera setting before you start taking your blog photos. You should be able to adjust your camera setting to suit your shooting conditions, so keep adjusting the settings until you are satisfied with the result. Also, check the positioning of your camera. Depending on what I am photographing, I like to put myself in a higher position (so I set up on a stool ) to take my indoor photos.
