OOTD: A Navy Blue Ditsy Tea Dress*

Next Navy Blue Tea Dress Image

I have been shopping the sales online, and it has been great. There are quite a few bargains up for grabs now so get in there now if you are looking to add some pieces to your collection. Some stores that currently have the spring sale going on are Debenhams, Illamasaqua, and Matalan. These stores have also added the new spring/summer collection to the stores and online, so it is worth popping in or browsing online, to see what is on trend at the moment, or you could just wait for me to wear it on here, lol.

However, I should add that knowing what styles and designs are in vogue does not mean you should go all out and shop all new collections. You can add few pieces and accessories to your existing wardrobe, to update it and give you new pieces to be excited about, and you should be able to style those few new buys with your current spring/summer pieces. The secret of having a stylish wardrobe is to avoid impulse buying. Always shop with your current wardrobe in mind, just so you buy pieces and accessories that would complement what you do have already. Shopping until you drop every season is not healthy or wise, that is why I always go for quality over quantity. I need my clothes and accessories to last longer than a season, that is why I am very selective of where I shop, you won’t catch shopping in many stores, names withheld to protect the innocent.

So over to what I have on, I am wearing a Navy Blue Ditsy Tea Dress. This dress is one of the new pieces I got in the spring sale some days ago and I love it. This dress is the TRUTH. I adore the colour, the floral print, the length, the way it feels, everything about this dress I love. I will be wearing this stylish dress a lot. It is so easy to dress up and down, a great choice.

OOTD: The Cape Trend

Fashion Blogger UK Image

Hey peeps. Happy Monday. I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day. I did, I received some lovely presents, and we had a nice Thai lunch and binged on Netflix after. We are currently watching Breaking Bad, currently on season 3, and loving it. It was the best weekend ever. I hope you had a great time.

On the other hand, the weather has been HORRID, for lack of a better word. It has been so windy and cold. I think February has been the coldest month this winter. I am so looking forward to spring, I am so over winter already, I can’t wait for March to be here. The only thing I will miss is the winter layering, I find it so easy to look stylish during winter. It is the best fashion season ever.

Luckily for me, it was cold, but bright enough to get some good shots so I took advantage of the weather, before heading out.

I have always loved the cape layering. I find capes so easy to style, and I think they look super chic over a lovely dress or top and skirt like I have on here. The good thing about capes as well is they can be worn as a light cover during spring and autumn months, so they are a good investment. I have quite a couple in my wardrobe, and I am so looking forward to styling them all differently. You will be seeing a lot of capes on Fashion and Style Police, so get ready to be inspired.

Hey peoples. It is a new week and I have a new outfit for you. I am so proud of myself, so far this year, I have had at least 2 outfit posts each week. I have been super organised, planning outfits well in advance, and finding the time to actually photograph them, against all odds. I hope this organisation carries on for the rest of the year. It will be amazing.

There is something about the suede material. I find it so very chic, so it should come as no surprise that I have quite a few suede pieces and accessories. Suede pieces play a major role in my winter wardrobe, I find them stylish, easy to wear, and dead warm. Perfect for the chilly weather.

I love this Red Herring tan sleeveless suede dress. It is the PERFECT dress. It can take you from day to-night easily, and the relaxed fit is so my style. I got this beauty in the sales, it was a whooping 70% off, best bargain ever.

My only issue with this piece is I am not too sure how to get it cleaned. the label say no washing, no tumble drying, dry clean only, but on the website it says machine washable. I know the label instructions should override any other instructions, but I am kind of hoping I can wash it in the washing machine. Not tried to yet as I am scared I will ruin it, but I tend to avoid dry clean only pieces as much as I can because of the whole stress of going to the dry cleaners, every time I need to get a piece cleaned.
