Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Covers Glamour UK February 2016

GLAMOUR-Feb16-Cover_glamour_22dec15_pr_b_1

I came across the latest Glamour issue online and I am eager to grab a copy. The very beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is on the cover for the February issue and she looks stunning on it, as expected. Her makeup is flawless, hair looks beautiful in a straight out of the bed, messy way, and she has on a white piece, which looks great on the cover. This woman ALWAYS looks perfect.

A model, actress, entrepreneur, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry. Her lingerie line with M&S is currently the best-selling in the country, and she is launching a cosmetics line also with M&S Autograph; Rosie For Autograph Cosmetics, which is promised to be also a best-selling cosmetic line.

I love to ‘hang out’ with successful people. I believe their success rubs off on others around them. So since I am not around Rosie at the moment (wink wink), I would love to read about how she got to where she is today, and this Glamour issue promises to contain all her juicy career secrets, which is right up my street. Rosie also dishes out some beauty tips on how to contour like a supermodel, so that will be something I would be interested in as well. I have recently discovered the power of a good contour, so learning some more tips from a beauty guru will be ace.

Another feature in this issue, I am interested in, is the former FBI agent feature on how to manage stress. Stress has become a friend for a long time now, and  I will like to put an end to that friendship this year. I need to know how to work smarter and be more productive.

I will be getting a copy of this issue when next I pop out to the stores. Looks like it is going to be a good read.

What do you think of this issue? Will you be reading?

OOTD: A Tartan Tunic Dress

OOTD: A Tartan Tunic Dress

Nothing Clothing Company Tunic

Hey peoples. Happy New Week, Thank God its Monday. I have a new outfit inspiration post for you. It is all about this tartan tunic long sleeve dress but the highlight is, I wore this dress differently. Instead of pairing with a pair of tights, I paired this beauty with a pair of jeggings because it was just too freaking cold for tights, and it worked.

I don’t about where you are, but right here in Cheshire and in Essex (was in Essex over the weekend), it has been painfully cold. I am talking -1ish. It is winter all of a sudden, and I am not sure how to cope with the sudden cold. Some people have even been lucky, and have seen some snow. I am still waiting here for the snow to make an appearance. I hope to be outfit and camera ready once it surfaces.

Anyways, back to the outfit, I love anything Tartan. I think it is a very pretty pattern and I think the dress is bang on trend. This dress is very light weight, but it did keep me warm, along with my very heavy winter coat, left behind the scenes.

I went all dark with the accessories and the jeggings. I was aiming for a complete stylish chic look and I think I nailed it. I will be wearing a lot of this dress this year. It looks like a great all year round dress.

In other news, it is my birthday this week, yayyyy. I am super excited. It will be my last birthday in my twenties, and I can’t wait to celebrate. I have a couple of activities planned out, so I hope the weather behaves, lol, and if it doesn’t, I will just go with the flow.

Product Review: CHIN UP Mask

Product Review: CHIN UP Mask

CHIN UP Product Review

I tried the new kid on the block – CHIN UP Firming and Contouring Mask and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

If you have been reading my blog for long, you should be familiar with my weekly Product Reviews series, I enjoy trying new products and writing about them, and so far so good, the feedback has been great with regards to the series. Many of my readers enjoy reading them and find them useful, so it is a win-win for me.

So for the weekend, I bring to you the simple, non-surgical face lift known as CHIN UP.

CHIN UP

Here is what the brand had to say about the product:

CHINUP Mask is the revolutionary 30 minutes non-surgial facelift and fat reduction. It combines beauty, science and technology. ChinUp Firming and Contouring Mask is a product that exceeds skin care needs and expectations.

  • Lifts and firms the lower part of your face to contour your jawline
  • Promotes facial blood circulation
  • Hydrates and moisturises the skin on the chin area
  • Reduces fat on the chin
  • Uses natural ingredients such as fruit extract which keeps the skin healthy

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. I lost about 1cm of fat on my chin so it works.
  2. The skin on my chin felt a lot firmer and tighter once I took off the band and mask.
  3. It worked in 30 minutes.
  4. My chin felt and looked well moisturised.
  5. I love the fact that I can use product at home by myself. Super convenient.
  6. The slimming mask and band can be used on all skin types.

CONS

  1. I felt a warm, tingling sensation while I had the mask and band on. It was a little uncomfortable.
  2. I found it a little hard getting the band across my head as it kept coming off my ears but I got there in the end.
  3. The results last a couple of days and needs to be repeated every other day for a week to achieve better results.
  4. For a pack containing 1 mask, measuring tape and band, it is £19.99. So if you need to use it 3 times a week, it will cost you a little, but the results are worth it.
  5. I found the slimming mask a bit messy and difficult to apply on the chin as it just didn’t stick, until I had the slimming band on top.

Chin

The difference might not be quite visible because my chin is already quite pointed but I did notice a difference. I will recommend this CHIN UP mask to anyone looking to get rid of a double chin, or anyone looking for some firming and tightening in the chin area. It does the work beautifully, I promise.
