OOTD: Lace in Peplum

UK Fashion Blogger Picture

Thank God the weekend is here at last, and I can show off this outfit of the day aka ootd: lace in peplum. This week has been so hard. I am extremely happy today is Saturday and I get to put my feet up. You have no idea how excited I am. It has been an extremely busy week with me juggling my life, blog and my freelance jobs. I am thankful to be this busy but I think I need to schedule in some proper ‘me’ time so I don’t breakdown, lol.

The thing about working for yourself is if you do not know where to draw the line, you will be working every minute you are awake, and I mean serious working – the fastest way to collapse….

I have decided to start taking my wellbeing a little more seriously, for the sake of my health and my career. I am not useful to anyone if I fall ill so easy does it going forward. I am going to relax a little and find some time to unwind without any gadget around me, like a holiday digital detox. So no laptops, phones, tablets or camera. I may schedule that for this weekend at some point, so don’t be too surprised if no new post is uploaded until Monday.

Enough of me moaning, back to the fun stuff now, I wore this outfit some days ago. The sandals and top are new wardrobe additions, and I adore them both.

The pink crochet lace peplum top is an excellent fit. I love the lace design and the pink colour is fab. It is a chic piece. I love the fact that I can style it in various ways.

The khaki tie-up suede block heel sandals is also fabulous. I love the tie-up design and the gold accent heel, which is a perfect height for me. The khaki colour is also pretty and new colour in my wardrobe. I can see myself rocking these two for many years to come.

  1. You look fab Stella as always. I am glad you are going to take some time out for yourself too. Self care is so important.

That hour or so out once a week for pamper time at home and when I go to the spa and hairdressers monthly is so important.

I also go on a spiritual weekend once a year into the North Yorkshire Dales. No WIFI, phones etc. as they just don’t work out where we go. It’s amazing and though the first time you do it it’s odd I look forward to it. I have been going for 5 years now.

I dont see what you said as a moan. I think it is something women should be looking at doing on a regular basis to refill the soul’s tank. Make sure you do
