OOTD: October Outfit

I can’t believe we are in the second week of October 2017 already. The year has been going so fast, I am trying to keep up with the race. It has been a great year so far, better than the previous year, and I am sure these last 3 months would even be better. How has 2017 treated you so far? I hope it has been all you want it to be. Here is a new October Outfit Post for your viewing pleasure. It is a simple/casual look.

If you have been reading Fashion and Style Police for some time, you would know all about what collaborations I have worked on and what I have been up to really. It has been an extremely busy year, and that I am forever grateful for.

I am currently working with GymCube on getting my energy levels up, and I am also working on getting my body where I need it to be. I am currently loving the 7 Day Kick Start Plan. It is so motivating and the website is super easy to navigate. You can join me on my fitness journey. Go have a look on the GymCube website and decide on the workout plan you need.

I took these photos the other day and forgot all about them. The top is a new wardrobe addition. I got it online some weeks ago, and I have worn it a few times already. I love how comfy it is. It is also great for the layering season upon us, and it blends into my wardrobe beautifully. I love it so much! Every other piece/accessory is a Goldie but oldie.

Instaworthy Autumn Posts!

Autumn is arguably the most fascinating time in fashion, and it’s finally here! I am super excited! From  rich colours and cosy jumpers to tasty coffees and frosty mornings, the season is fabulous for Instagrammers—but just what photos should you be snapping this year? We find out:

A trip to Starbucks

With Halloween on the rise, we’re guessing that the pumpkin spice latte will be making a return. Be prepared to post this all-time Starbucks favourite and watch the likes flood in! A good shot of a cup of coffee is sure to get the likes.

An autumn nature post

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons to photograph and everyone loves a good leaf post. Especially with the beautiful bold browns and reds. You can post your nature photos individually or as a pile to add some colour to your Instagram account.

Snap a selfie

I love uploading selfies every now and again. I enjoy taking them and I think it is great  to take a few selfies wearing autumn hats, gloves and scarves! Have a look at designer womenswear brand Ralph Lauren’s online style guide for more ideas on the pieces and accessories you should be wearing and sharing for autumn 2017.

A bright night sky

Make the most of upcoming seasonal events. You could attend a firework display on the 5th of November! You could also get some great Halloween decoration shots! Capture all of the action on your phone and upload to your feed.

Picture pumpkin

Pumpkins make great shots! You can either carve them or stack them up to create a beautiful post. So make the most of the season, and get those pumpkin photos uploaded on Instagram.

Wear then share

When it comes to fashion, Instagram is the place to be. I get a lot of daily fashion inspiration on Instagram, and I enjoy sharing my outfit posts too.  This autumn, why not share some outfit posts? Just make sure you pick the picture perfect outfit!

A touch of frost

Instagram is a great platform to show off your photography skills. Capturing the perfect shot of glistening, pretty frost will put your skills to the test, but the end result is well worth the effort!

The top trick

We all know cute animals can guilt trip people into liking a post. From pups in piles of leaves to robins on fences, who can scroll past those little faces? So if you have a pet, get those shots taken!

Muddy wellies

Autumn and rain go hand in hand, so get your wellies out and make the most of the muddy puddles. Remember to get your cameras ready to get some puddles shots!

Extravagant hot chocolates

Posting a picture of hot chocolate in summer might be a little weird, but with the cold weather coming in, you have the perfect opportunity for snapping that shot. Pile them high with cream and marshmallows for an envy-inducing autumn drink.
