  1. Very true.. But I haven’t fully exploited the advantages of blogging as you have explained in these points. I need to think more and find out what all I can do. Thank you

  2. Great post! It’s so easy to loose sight of why you started blogging but these tips definitely make you realise your love for it 🙂

  3. I was continually told I had far too much to say for myself as I was growing up. Turns out that was going to become very useful as a blogger! But, I agree, it’s easy to lose sight of why you started, however I do think that any blog evolves over time and as long as you are still passionate about what you do and you are giving your readers what they want you’re doing a good job.

  4. Blogging has definitely changed my life in more ways than one and I can not imagine myself not blogging. These are all great reasons to blog and I concur with all of them.

  5. I have noticed such a difference in myself since I began blogging. I have become more confident, I think I have become a better communicator, and it has helped me find the perfect career path as well! I am on my second blog now, and I still love it just as much as I did when I first began! Great post!

  6. It is great for all these reasons but it is also important to remember that it is a competitive market these days and your blog can get lost in a sea of similar ones and it can take time to start making a living

  7. all of these are very true. The reason I started a blog was to break out of my introvertness and to gather my thoughts and opinions in one place, since I felt like I couldn’t express myself in a way that made sense. Now, my blog has turned into a business and while my main goal is still finding my own voice, I also want to be a help and inspiration to others who were or are like me, quite, shy, and timid when meeting and talking to other people.

  8. I started blogging so I could have a positive creative outlet when feeling like I’d lost my identity during my first maternity leave. Now three years on one rebranded and am actually making some money! It’s such a wonderful thing to do and really improves my mood and day to day.

  9. I’ve been blogging for about 18 months now and really agree with all your points here, especially the last one. It’s been such a great way to record experience and have a sort of journal I can look back on. As you say it’s not talked about as much I don’t think but it is a way of therapy I guess to share your thoughts and feelings and realise there’s others out there feeling the same. Great post, thanks for sharing!
