Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the long Easter weekend wherever you are. The sun is shining here. We have been enjoying the sunshine here for the last few days now. I hope the sunny days stay for a bit longer. The charity of the month this April is Comic Relief. A few weeks ago, Comic Relief celebrated Red Nose Day and it was great to see the different ways individuals and organisations got involved. It is always important to support charities who intern support others. This year has been tough for many people in different ways and I am always eager to get involved with charities and do my bit.
Comic Relief’s Mission
To drive positive change through the power of entertainment
How the donation is allocated
The money received from donations is allocated as grants to various charities. These charities help support those who are living tough lives in the UK and all around the world.
I think Comic Relief is doing an amazing job for those struggling to make ends meet. It is amazing to see how they support thousands of charities with grants.
Getting involved
You can get involved with Comic Relief through fundraising. Catch up on all the relevant information here. Also, you can also donate to Comic Relief. Your donations go a long way in shaping the lives of families all over the world. For example, £30 could support a child in Uganda to access early years education for a whole year, £50 could pay to get 200 meals to vulnerable children and their families in the UK. You can donate here. You can also support Comic Relief by shopping on their online store. They have cute noses, bottles, shirts, accessories and more on sale.
Thanks for reading, commenting, sharing and donating. Have a lovely Easter break.
