The Kiddies Go To Farm

We had a very busy weekend. The kiddies went for their swimming classes, played for hours in the garden splashing in the pool, playing with bubbles, football and letting loose in the sun. And we ended the fun weekend with a trip to our local farm – Stockley Farm, in Cheshire, which was a lovely experience. How was your weekend?

Thoughts on Stockley Farm

It was good fun. The weather was dead warm at almost 30 degrees. And the kiddies were loving it. This was our first trip to a farm as a family and I was well impressed. The trip to the farm started with a tractor ride which was the highlight of the day. Then we had the opportunity to go round the farm, popping into the many animal barns to see the animals. The kids even got the opportunity to feed some of them. It was a good family day out for sure. We will be doing it again for sure. There are quite a few farms around us in Cheshire, which we will be exploring this summer.

There was also a soft play available, and a playground which was a nice surprise. I didn’t think the farm would have all those as well but it did, and it kids made sure they made the most of them.

Days out are always fun for the whole family when done right and this was a great experience all around. I really liked the fact that the tractors that took us to and fro the farm were both prompt. Since we had to park our car in a car park a mile away from the farm, and catch the tractor. The last thing I wanted was to hang around waiting for a tractor. But thankfully we didn’t have to.

Outfit Post – Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Hey fashion lovers! How are you? I am good. It has been a very busy time for me. The month of June is pretty much over. It has gone by so fast. I can’t believe it is July next week. The weather has also been great and we have been making the most of the sunshine as you can see in this outfit post. The amazing sunshine is making me shine bright like a diamond that I am in these photos.

I am rocking my natural hair for the first time in an outfit post and I am so proud of  how far I have come.My natural hair journey started abut 2 years ago. It has been tough, and sometimes, I am tempted to straightened the hair with some chemicals. But then I remember why I started growing my hair natural, and that stops me.

My hair is still at the stage of me not really knowing how to style it. Which is why it is usually in cornrows. But for the next weeks, I am going to be experimenting with various natural hair styles and treatments to see what works best for my hair.

I have recently started using some new hair care products and techniques which I will be sharing on Fashion and Style Police in the next few weeks. It would be exciting to see how these treatments transform my natural hair.

In this outfit post, I am wearing existing pieces from my wardrobe. Even though I love fashion and I enjoy writing about it and showing various styles, I don’t shop very often. But when I do shop, I like to go for quality pieces that would last longer and stand the test of time.

Aquarius Individual Fashion Sense

Some call us weird, others call us wonderful. Many people we are inventive and quirky, and we are!

I am not so into Zodiac signs anymore, unlike when I was a lot younger. But I do know quite a lot about Zodiac signs and their meanings, especially mine which is Aquarius. I tick most of the Aquarius boxes. I am the humanitarian and philanthropist of the zodiac. We Aquarius do not shy away from lending a helping hand when needed. We are passionate, unconventional, independent and we have the need to express our ingenuity, which is why I blog I guess. Fashion and Style Police is a creative outlet for me, and it has changed my life for the better. It is definitely one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Being an Aquarius also explains a lot of things about my life, my personality and what makes me tick. It also explains my fashion sense. I have been doing some reading of fashion in general, and why we like certain styles. Why specific designs and pieces appeal to some and not others. And I have come to realise that our zodiac signs could play a role in our fashion sense.

 

So what is the Aquarius Individual Fashion Sense all about?

Unconventional and Original

The Aquarius personal style is usually unconventional and very original. We are usually free-spirited when it comes to fashion, which is why we tend to wear pieces in different ways. Having an original fashion sense is amazing, as there is never a dull fashion moment for a fashionista Aquarius chic. The possibilities are endless in the styling department.

Predict Trends

The Aquarius woman has the forward thinking gift, which is amazing when put to fashion and style use. Aquarians can predict fashion trends well in advance and can play around with various styles in the pursuit of the perfect look.

The talented fashion designer Mary Quant predicted trends well in advance. She invented the mini-skirt, creating a uniform for the 1960s women’s lib movement. But she forever gives credit to her clients.

“It was the girls on the King’s Road who invented the mini. I was making easy, youthful, simple clothes, in which you could move, in which you could run and jump, and we would make them the length the customer wanted. I wore them very short and the customers would say, ‘Shorter, shorter.’”
