Originality

Being original is the key when it comes to distinguishing yourself from others. All people nowadays want to be like no one else. Everybody wants to be original but only few are truly original. Originality comes not from shopping magazines and buying products but from your heart and soul. You need to use your brain and be yourself no matter what others think or say about it.

Without any doubt, style is always fashionable and it is style that makes people beautiful. But you simply can’t buy style. You can only feel it. The best to start doing it is to quit listening to others and start listening to yourself. That is the true philosophy of style. Style is more important than fashion. Style makes fashion. Fashion comes and goes but style always lasts and stands.

Clothes

Always buy clothes that fit you. It means that you should not follow any advice but that of your friends and close ones. Never follow any trends or something like. Trends are dead and everybody now decides for himself and herself what is stylish.  You definitely should know for yourself what better suits you. Being original is the best style and it is always fashionable. When you’re buying new clothes, don’t only think about comfort. Always look for clothes that are not only comfortable but that look good on you as well. Try to maintain one style and don’t change the way you look significantly from day-to-day.

Haircut and Facial Hair

Your haircut and facial hair in case you’re man as just as important as what you wear. You should pick one haircut that you think suits you best and maintain it. Ask your friends and close ones which one of all your haircuts suited you best. Never forget to think for yourself because you’re the one who knows best what suits you better. Most men look for their facial hair by themselves. Nevertheless, barber shops are now in style again. You can go there and an authoritative specialist will advise you what to do with you beard and/or a moustache. Because, after all, you visit a barber for a haircut so, why don’t let him look after your beard as well?

Different Seasons

One thing that can easily ruin your style is how you change your clothes season by season. You can’t wear your cool coat in the summer just the same as you can walk in your awesome jeans when it 10 degrees below zero. Therefore, you need to adjust your looks so one season won’t make you look completely different from how you look during another season.

Attitude

Style and beauty are not only in your looks. Your behavior, approach to other people, and your whole attitude either make you beautiful and stylish or not. You need to express interest in other people and be naturally curious desiring to know them better. If it’s difficult for you to meet new people, visit datingladies.com/profiles/ and look for somebody to keep you company. The psychology of style is that you need to feel style rather than wear it. Style is the way of thinking. If you think you go style, then, well, you got it.

All in all, now you know what to do to be stylish, fashionable, and beautiful. Never forget that everything is about originality. Good luck!

Outfit Post – Fashion Bloggers Please Dress Warm

It is my birthday in a few days and I am looking forward to celebrating the new year in my own way. Being a January baby means I get to start the new year with a birthday and align my goals to suit my new stage in life. I am still in the process of styling my birthday outfit in my head (it has to be perfect since I am a fashion blogger right?), not really decided what I would wear or what I would do on the day. But I am sure ideas would crop up closer to the date, so look out for a birthday outfit post soon.

I wore this outfit some weeks ago. The Silver Grey Long Oversized Coat With Faux Fur Hood is a new wardrobe addition. I am so in love with it. It is the right length and it feels so warm and comfy. The faux fur trim hood is an added touch of beauty and the puffy fit is great for layering this winter.

Dressing warm is so important in the winter and we fashion bloggers need to promote that a lot more. I remember when I initially started blogging, I came across a few fashion blogs that would show off outfit posts wearing summery pieces in the middle of winter, and I thought it was so unrealistic and misleading. 9 times out of 10, these bloggers would pose outside for a few minutes to get the photos taken and get back inside to wear something more sensible. Like who walks around in a mini skirt and crop top in the winter months?

I don’t play with the cold weather. I dress warm and make sure the kids are dressed warm too. So I find it crazy to see many fashion bloggers still doing this. Fashion should be stylish and comfy. You should not have to choose one over the other, when you can have both. So my fellow fashion bloggers, please think twice before you step outside to be photographed in yet another revealing outfit in the middle of winter. It looks very silly and dangerous. Health is wealth, remember that.

7 Tricks for Revamping Your Personal Style on a Budget

Does the new year mean a new you? Changing your personal style is great fun as well as a good boost for the self-confidence. However, what can you do if a new pay raise has yet to arrive?

There are quite a few simple tricks you can use to revamp your style on a budget. Their applications will differ depending on the type of style you want to have. But the ideas are sure to provide inspiration.

How to Revamp Your Style on a Budget
1.     Customize your current wardrobe

In the majority of cases, a girl’s wardrobe is full of clothes she hardly ever wears. You can put them to use now that you are looking for new ways of self-expression. Look up some guides on how to customize clothing by hand or employ a professional to help you. In either case, the overall cost will be much lower than buying brand-new items.

2.     Launch a clothes swap campaign

Remember that clothes you aren’t wearing? If you can’t turn it into something new you’d love, swap it for something else. You can start with talking to your family and friends as they are bound to have similar issues. In case your styles don’t align at all, you can find ‘swapping’ opportunities online.

3.     Accessorize on a budget

Today you can easily find exquisite accessories at very affordable prices. Go for originality to compensate for the lack of precious gems. For example, the Moonglow Classic Necklace with black Swarovski crystal in pewter will look stunning with a variety of party outfits. Buying affordable accessories is the new chic. Even Kate Middleton does this.

4.     Dive into the depth of eBay and Etsy

To revamp your style on a budget you need to not only get the best bargains, but also the most stylish outfits and accessories. EBay and Etsy offer both, especially if you take your time truly surfing through them. The tricky thing is that you need to have a rather solid idea of what you are looking for beforehand. Otherwise, you will get swamped with thousands of available offers. Thus, start with finding inspiration and outlining your new style.

5.     Get your own signature

Every truly outstanding celebrity has something unique that sets them apart from the rest. Marilyn Monroe had her bleached hair and the mole, Gwen Stefani has a love for red lipstick and penchant for overlooking limitations of formal styles. As you can see, neither of these are things that require a major investment, yet they are marks of a unique style. This means that you don’t have to completely replace your wardrobe in order to create a new way of presenting yourself to the world. Instead, focus on details that will show off the new ‘true you’.

6.     If buying new, go for classics

This might seem counterproductive as the point is revamping your style. However, practicality should win when your budget is limited. You can personalize the outfits with accessories as well as by mixing and matching classic clothes with a few original statement pieces. By investing in classic designs, such as an LBD (Little Black Dress), pencil skirt, white button-down blouse, etc., you ensure that revamping your looks in the future will become cheaper and easier.

7.     Get some extra money

When you need to revamp your style on a budget, you shouldn’t forget that you can increase that budget without taking out the money from other needs. Instead, sell the clothes you aren’t using yourself and cannot customize. This might be a long shot and the payoff is hard to predict. However, this will allow you to both declutter and get at least some extra cash.

What do you think of these 7 tricks for revamping your personal style on a budget?
