Father’s Day – The Gift of Game

Father’s Day is almost here for us in the UK (Sunday June 18), and that means more gifts buying. I am yet to get Father’s Day gifts sorted, but I am on it. I should hopefully get the gifts in the next few days. I have been snooping around on various blogs and websites for gift ideas, so I have a few gifts in mind already, but I am still undecided.

I am also undecided on how we should spend the day. When it comes to Father’s Day or Mother’s Day, I prefer the gift of an experience. We parents spend our money, time and energy caring for the little ones, so having a scheduled me time is usually the best gift ever!

I have a few ideas for a fun-filled Father’s Day, for the game lovers. These activities would make the day even more special. Here they are  –

Playing Golf

The golf lovers would enjoy a good game of golf to unwind. Personalised golf balls and accessories would also be great unique gifts to accompany a good game of golf for the golf crazy daddies.

Bingo Games

For the Bingo playing fans, an afternoon playing Bingo games could be a fab gift idea. There are many different online games around these days, which means there is surely a game to tickle the fancy on an online game fanatic. William Hill review from Boomtown Bingo explains some promotions and sign up offers currently running on the William Hill website, so do have a look for more information.

Watch a Football Match

Tickets to go watch their favourite team play footy is another great gift idea for Father’s Day. Many men are football freaks! The gift of football would definitely put a smile on the faces of many fathers.

Are you sorted for Father’s Day? Or you still undecided like me?

Do We Need a Pet

My kiddies have decided that need a pet. They have been bugging me about having one for some time now, and the bugging has now increased. We are one of the only ones on our street without a dog or cat, so I can understand why they are so bent on having one. They see pets in almost every garden apart from theirs, and they are obsessed with them.

However, I don’t think I can deal with the stress and responsibilities of having a pet, but you never know what you are capable of sometimes. If we had to have one now, I would rather we pick a dog. I think some breeds are really cute, and dogs look like they would be fun to have around.

One thing I know for sure is, our home and garden is not dog friendly at all, so that would need sorting out before anything else, if we do go ahead. I recently came across an infographic by Ratten Direct – a leading supplier of garden furniture in the UK,and this infographic explained how a dog friendly garden should look like. It is definitely food for thought for dog owners and lovers. Here is the infographic below.

I bet many of you were not aware of these possible dangers in the garden. I know I was aware of any of these, until I came across this infographic. Good I did, because I now know we are not having a dog or any kind of pet anytime soon, because our garden is nowhere where it needs to be in order to have one safely.

Is your garden dog friendly? What are your thoughts on this?

May 2017 Outfits

Hey peeps! It is that time again. Another month is almost over, and it is now time to talk about the outfits of the month. May has been an OK month for outfits. I had the opportunity of showing off 2 very different outfits. Here is a quick recap if you missed the posts.

OOTD: Summer Time

I really like this New Look dress I am rocking here. It is a new wardrobe addition, I got it some weeks ago. It stands out in my wardrobe, it is very different from what I would normally go for and I love it for that.

I found this dress incredibly easy to style, and so comfortable to wear, especially as the days are getting warmer. I love wearing dresses in the summer, I usually can’t be bothered to wear anything else when the weather gets dead warm. I just need to remember to have my legs shaved, lol.

What do you think of this look? I think the dress is pretty but I believe the highlight of the look is the Oversize Bow Denim sandals by Kurt Geiger. Do you agree?

OOTD: Blue is the New Black

This is the second and last outfit for May. I am wearing a dress by Quiz Collection. It is another beautiful addition to my dress collection and I am so in love with it. I think this piece from the new bridal collection at Quiz Collection is so elegant. It is fab for a wedding, dinner date or a very glam event.

The highlight of this look is definitely the blue dress. Do you agree?

What do you think of both looks? Which is your favourite? I can’t seem to decide on the look I prefer. Maybe because they are very different.
